I traded in my DC5 about 5 years ago and it'd be worth the same or maybe more now, it's just mental. Similarly when i sold my Scooby even being a UK car i only lost £1800 in over 4 years having put 30k on the clock.

Japan used to make some great sports cars. Will they ever have such a huge array of sports cars again?
By looking at how Japanese car manufactures are going the answer is most likely NO. But when electric cars are a thing then maybe they'll risk at doing some alternatives. But I doubt it... Imagine if it was 1995 now, you could get so many great cars without bigger hassle.

Have only had one Japanese car. That was the RX8. Way back when they were still worth money lol. Decent to look at but I'd imagine it to be a pup compared to the RX7!
Think if I ever go jap again I'd need to get myself an S2k or R34 GTR. Those cars looked awesome in the Best Motoring Togue battles!

Also to the R34 owner. Were you at the last piston heads Mercedes Benz World SS? Just been going through some old pics when I spotted a bayside blue skyline

I at least managed low 20s with a classic Type RA (VF29). My UK turbo managed 30+ no probs but that was a mapped TD04.

That's UK mpg (37mpg US) and was on a run up the interstate, AC blasting away.
I get 24-26mpg UK in start stop
