Show us your kitty cats

Today Ronnie hasn't moved far from me - Been out changing oil on car so he was splashed out on gravel drive not far away - Now I have finished he is back to his favourite perch - I have a trailer with a tarp cover over it and he settles down on the tarp -It's a sun trap - You can tell they are not with it. he just popped next door for his dreamies and back again.

I do wish Milo would leave him alone as he is a nice cat -all black with a spot of white.

Its so hard when they go. A lot of people who don't get cats can't comprehend you can develop an amazing relationship with them, just as strong as with dogs.

I would go a step further and say you can develop a amazing relantionship with them, just as strong as with a person. It absolutely broke my heart when I lost Garfield and then Jade just 9 months later. It was like a huge part of my life was taken away. I still get teary when I think of them even now.

Cleo has been a pain in the butt these past couple of weeks. She has been going out at night and catching "things" and bringing them upstairs at sill o'clock in the morning. The problem is that most have been very much alive. The worst was a bloody huge vole that she brought in, released on the landing and then chased into our bedroom. It quickly went behind the wardrobe which is a 6 door one and weighs a ton. It took me 45 minutes to get the bloody thing out so I could take it out and release it!! The other night she brought a fieldmouse home and somehow it climbed up behing the radiator on the landing and was sitting on the lower mounting bracket. That was another 30 minutes to get it out. She screams her head off when she catches something as if to say, "look at me, I've brought you a present" which I suppose is a good thing otherwise we would be overrun with voles, mice and shrews. Two nights ago she caught a mole!! How the hell can a cat catch a mole, they live underground for gods sake?

Oscar is still going "missing" for days on end and I have no idea where he is going. He just pops in for some food and buggers off again. Over the past three days I suppose I have seen him for 10 minutes and all the worrying is driving me crazy. He actually came in long enough last week for me to get a appointment at the vets for his annual check up and booster. In the last six months he has lost 1.2kg due to "sleeping rough" instead of coming home and eating properly. The sooner someone invents a miniature, affordable, implantable tracker the better.

On a brighter note, next doors kittens are getting used to everyone now so are not as hyper as they were when first let out so I should be able to get some pics very soon.

I managed to get a quick couple of pictures of next doors kittens although the little heathens wouldn't stay still for long so the pictures are not that good. I will try to do better during the week.

This is Cindy

This is Cheree

They are sisters, the mother is a Ragdoll and the father is unknown. Cindy's tail is just magnificent and that is how it normally is. You should see it when it's fluffed up!! Her coat is so soft and fluffy unfortunately it is also perfect for picking up those damn sticky ball seeds. Cheree is a little sweetheart and much more cautious than her sister who is brazen and will just charge into your house. They must be seven months old now.

After losing our 2 over a year ago now and not having had any more of our own, we now get visited by these 2 ruffians from one of our neighbours. Meet Scar and Ginger (I'll let you guess which is which)

We are now used as a drop in cafe. Every morning they are there at the kitchen window waiting, giving me either sad faces or filthy looks (if I'm late) wanting me to open up the conservatory and feed them food and dreamies throughout the day! Cheeky bleeders
