Personal preference, I hate that interior, black and cream, glad it wasn't finished off with Jaguar wood.

Lovely looking car though, The choice before I bought my Z4 was either the Z4 or 330ci, whatever came first.

Must say I don't think the light cream suits the 46 interior. Might just be me. It does look in great condition though, you usually see lots of discolouration and stress/wear marks!

That's interesting as I love cream + black leather compared to boring black. I really wanted to avoid getting a boring silver or black car with boring grey or black leather. So I got a slightly less boring blue and nice cream interior! I've been thinking of getting black floor mats to continue the contrasting that is going on!

Also there are lots of stress and wear marks that the bright sun light is hiding :D

Edit- I might take some unwashed, wintery up to date pictures (or just look in that "did I park like a boob" thread) so you can see what it actually looks like!

Cream is fantastic and always keeps an interior looking more special and less dated.
I disagree.. I think black/red is always the colour.. simply because cream is always combined with wood or some other tatty material that looks out of place on anything but a jag/bentley.

Wood trim is fantastic when done right. Love it in mine. Wish my interior was cream instead of dull black.

The wood works far better in mine than either the brushed or textured aluminium or plain piano black gloss.

I guess it does look alright when done properly.

Jags seem to do it well, BMW's not so much.. later ones look good but e46/e9x are a bit weird from my POV.

but it's hard to argue about taste, people clearly like it.

I went with open pore ash on my C63, didn't like the glossy plastic look, potato pic:
