Fantastic looking car that e-tron GT. I remember watching a review (can't remember where) that said it didn't come with cup holders as standard, strange if true. But definitely a stunning car, enjoy!

160 mile hoon around Wales / Shropshire - epic drive out and very quiet roads and now already done 5000 miles in the A110S it is truly epic car that is so enjoyable even on the narrow roads.

It is that car where you see those narrow little lanes with an NSL limit and you think there is no way I’d go down that road, well in the A110 it was made for those roads and NSL is easily achievable, great fun. :D
do like the alpine gay pic though

Hi there

So another truly 200 mile epic blast around Wales yesterday with the local McLaren dealership, 32 McLarens in total.

Fantastic event by McLaren Manchester and the great thing about McLaren owners is the whole bag of skittles you get colour wise, most popular car attending was 600 LT's along with plenty of 720S and there was a 765 LT, 750S along we a few 570S and Arturas.

After been treated to a lovely lunch at Pale Hall, we then hit the B4391 to Bala, stopped for some photos and ice cream and I then took a couple of other McLarens on a blast down the 4391 from Bala to Festinog, turned around went back down the B4391, onto the A roads, then back on the B4391 again all the way to Oswesty, had the roads totally to ourselves with resulted in much enjoyment with no sheep casualties though there was a few suicidal sheep but all avoided.

B4391 is one of my favourite stretches of road, anyone not driven it, go drive it! Also managed to see a couple of jets doing manoeuvres yesterday we as well, my that hurts the ears. :D

Is McLaren Manchester the dealer that has been called out by Jayemm on Cars a couple of times? He did a video recently about a horror story where a wishbone bolt came out while he was driving, that dealer's name came up, and he'd done a video a couple of years ago about them if I recall.

Anyway, fantastic roads up there. Not sure if I've been along the B4391 specifically but a couple of years ago I did the Evo triangle then drove down through that area, past Snowdown, on my way back home. Driving heaven.

Same dealership I’ve had nothing but amazing service and they cannot do enough to keep me happy.

For me a bolt coming out of a crash repaired car there is too many possibilities it could be Lloyds at fault or Manchester at fault or a pure unlucky coincidence but I think doing a witch hunt on YouTube is a bit too much when there is no proof, I like Jayemm top bloke but I’d not be laying blame anywhere and if it had happened to myself I’d have simply got the car home or requested the owner recover it and then jack it up and put the bolt back in.

I had my Lotus back it’s wishbone bolts out after a few track days and they had never been removed from new so either factory error or simple fact is these are track cars and driven hard and as such all suspension components should be double checked especially if it was recently repaired.

One thing I will say is why don’t McLaren and Lotus use loctite? Would solve these issues !

If I recall, he didn't say it was Manchester which was responsible for the issue, just that they were a bit dismissive and not helpful trying to resolve it.
But yeah, it did all strike me as a bit Internet drama at the time. Not at all relevant to me as I'm sure I'm never going to be setting foot in a McLaren dealership, just sure I'd heard mention of them before.

No offense though, put yourself in their shoes, it is Jayemm the guy who hates us calling us about a car he does not own.

The correct procedure would be, recover car to owner, let owner solve it as most garages will want to deal with the owner of the vehicle and as the car was other side of country as well.

In a perfect world I guess Manchester could have tried organising recovery via another closer dealer but in fairness what Jayemm did to contact a local dealer directly himself was the best cause of action and they did the best thing, recovered it and sorted it FOC, as I say it is just a couple of bolts, personally after seeing this I am tempted to get some quick jacks and remove every suspension bolt from my car one at a time, then re-torque with some loctite.

As the NVH on the 600 LT is rather extreme as it has solid engine mounts, so it vibrates like crazy, twice now the negative terminal on the battery has loosened causing gremlins, so it is totally possible for bolts to back out especially as loctite does not seem to be used. I've done around 8500 miles in mine, it has never let me down and when faults/issues have been spotted by Manchester they have sorted it under extended warranty. Only failure is my AC pipes corroded, but they have now all been replaced which was a visit separate to a service visit and during services it had had front damper and front bushes all done under extended warranty by Manchester and new rear tyres installed, along with a couple of sets of front brake pads and a set of rear pads as all the track work makes mince meat of the pads on the 600/720 cars due to the smaller caliper design which manages heat badly.

He should just count his blessings, if the wishbone had fallen out whilst accelerating hard at 70mph it would be a different story.

Thank you :). I reeeeeeeeeally want the new one with all that extra power, but will be good and wait until they have been out for a while and the second-hand prices hopefully sink them like stones.

Instantly driven to yours because of that wonderful colour every time.

Needed a car in hurry after mine was stolen. Slightly slower than previous, but more kit and more comfortable.
