They can use both, although the UI says it prefers ethernet unlike Sky which seems to go out of its way to force you onto Wi-Fi.Can you use ethernet connection or is it wifi only on these would you know ?

If you have optioned out of all communications then legally they cannot contact you, even by letter.Afternoon All!
I cancelled on the 19th of last month, not seen or heard from Sky
Not had an email even, is this normal?
Oh maybe I was too hasty with that, can I adjust that within the portal, or at least checkIf you have optioned out of all communications then legally they cannot contact you, even by letter.

Just logged into the MySky app and sure enough under "communication preferences" email, telephone, post and sms are off!I believe you can on the mysky app, but not sure where on it!
If they don't get in touch, ring the win back number and make up that you missed a call. Just be polite about it, and you should get a decent offer.Just logged into the MySky app and sure enough under "communication preferences" email, telephone, post and sms are off!
Changed that! But states can take upto 28 days to process....
Good shout though! I do have a diary note to call them a few days before

Got an SMS this morning from them so communication side is now working!
Still think that is a lot to pay , you try to call the win back team at Sky they should give you a better offerJust going through the cancellation shenanigans. Was offered sky stream for the following:
Sky entertainment £13 for 9 months
Sports £25
Netflix premium £8
UHD £6
Whole home £12
Broadband 500mb £23
Is this a good deal? Decided to put my cancellation in anyway whilst I think about it.
HD is free with stream. What kind of price should I be targeting?Still think that is a lot to pay , you try to call the win back team at Sky they should give you a better offer
Netflix for £8 got mine for £0
You paying for normal HD ? or is that free ?
I’d been out of contract for 8 months or so. I just kept calling them every once in a while kept getting the standard offer of £45 Sports HD etc. My bite point was always £38 or lower, which was what I was paying 2-3 years ago.Have you let your sky cancel or were in the 30 day notice period to get that?
Mine was switched off last week and the best I’ve managed on chat was signature, sports, hd and multiroom for £50.
