my last sky sub was around half that for the full package inc movies and sports in 2 rooms (multiroom), plus line rental with unlimited call package and unlimited broadband.

the max you should be paying for that package is £50 per month, if your a new customer you should get it for around that.

And I'm back to being a Sky customer, retentions called and placed me back on the same package I was on at the same price on offer for 10 months with zero contract (it's a shame, wanted a long contract as it saves me calling each year). NowTV would have been a cheaper option but £15/mo is not a lot for the convenience.

Giving Sky my cancellation notice today.
If I dont get good offer, will switch to BT...
we dont watch much TV anyway...mostly comedy central...might miss on sky Atlantic and f1 but can live with it.
BT will save me around £25 a month which comes to 50% what I pay now...

So my Sky cancelled on 21st May but I have all the channels still. All my recordings have gone etc and I cannot record from any of the Sky channels but can still watch them, very weird.

Be sure to check for quidco offers etc, when I switched to BT I got enough in cashback and sainsburys vouchers that BT were effectively paying me £45 for using there service for a year and at the end of it I will have what I wanted which is a youview box that works without subscription.

Thanks!!!
always forgetting about quidco!!!!

Currently paying £76.65 a month for the variety tv package, 2x sky+ boxes and fibre unlimited.

No movies, no sport, no hd, no fibre pro.....

I'm now out of my contract, but what would be a good price for haggling to? Nice to know what would be a reasonable breakpoint.

Ok cool cheers so....

variety - £30 a month
multiroom - £11.25 a month
fibre - £20 a month
line rental - £16.40 a month

If I can drop that down to £57 for 12 months then thats good. If I can drop it to £40 then thats a good deal.

They've already offered me it for £50 for 6 months, so I've got my starting point.
