I think Appliances Direct have it for £799 at the moment with 5 year warranty. Unfortunately it looks like the Sub/Soundbar deal was just while the world cup was on same with the PS4 draw as well.

Do you have a picture of the TV on the VESA mount? Do you know if it sits flusher then the included one?

I got mine from very.co.uk, they are doing it for £899 with the free soundbar offer, however if you order it using the free credit service you get 10% off so makes it £809.

Wifes dodgy, squinty photography. It actually doesn't look that far away from the wall in real life, I think it's just due to how close the photo is. The box only stick out as far as the built in speakers. The bottom photo looks worse as its quite heavy tilted downwards. When it is flat it only protrudes as much as the playbar.

I sent my docs off about 2 weeks ago and the website just says ongoing processing??

i am 9 weeks in on waiting for a PS4.... jokers be complaining at them all week, saying they lost the proof of purchase and then the order email from Tesco "was not an invoice" grrrrrrrrrrrrr just had to send them a bank statement. jokers!

Sent mine off today, with the order confirmation from John Lewis but reading the comments above that may not be sufficient.

I'm in no rush for mine, I'd only use it for FIFA 15!

Well impressed with the TV, the soundbar has exceeded my expectations having had a number of surround sound separates in the past. Dare I say it, the smart functionality is very well executed, especially Netflix. There isn't much point in me using the AppleTV anymore.

yeah they kicked off with me because i sent my order email from tesco, they said they wanted an 'invoice' which i did not ever have/get.

after weeks of moaning and slow responses i sent them my bank statement and various other items from within my tesco account that proved i had paid for the damn tv!!

I'm giving some serious thought to buying one of these. I've clearly missed the boat on free soundbars, 1 in 5 chances to win a PS4 etc. - damn.

Do you all wholeheartly recommend this model, or are there any disappointed customers out there?

Hey there Jimlad, was it a physical copy of your bank statement that Sony wanted, or an online screenshot? I sent my claim off a week ago, but have heard nothing as yet. The tv was actually a gift from a third party, & while I'm happy for their address to be used in order to validate the claim's legitimacy, the tv was also bought from Tesco Direct & didn't receive a physical invoice. I just printed out the email information as it was given to me. I felt bad enough asking for a copy of the invoice, so I know how I'm supposed to ask them for a print out of his bank details/Tesco Direct order history! This sounds like it's going to be messy.

Best to hang on longer. Nice TV, but still over-priced. Wait a couple of months for the price to drop to £750 with a free soundbar.
Also to add, you should be getting a 'free' PS4 anyway when you pay these sort of prices, never mind having to try and win one.
