Sony Xperia 1 II - A return to form for Sony?

Mines Just arrived at my sisters. got to head over to pick it up and sort out claiming the headphones. Got torrential rain here so probably no camera tryout today.
 
It feels more solid than the mark 1, the muscle memory for the separate power button will take some effort to relearn!

I'm also chuffed I can use the Sony QI charger I bought for the XZ2P again. It's essentially been a £60 paperweight thus far.
 
Somewhat annoying, I was hoping I could output via HDMI and use wireless charging simultaneously but it seems if you plug in a type C device, the wireless charging is turned off.

Pick up mine from my sisters and registered for the headphones. Going to be a late birthday present for my niece. Just swapped all my settings and apps over from my XZ3 and noticed it comes with Call of duty mobile preinstalled. I dont play games on my phone but I may give this a go. The Screen is stunning, Played Costa Rica 4K on youtube as a test and it looks great.
 
Did you remember to turn creator mode as well for watching content , plus change the youtube resolution to max. Remember to set motion blur for that fake 90hz feel ;)
 
Yup, I just worked that out, that sucks......I thought it did.

Anyone else's apps not appearing on the desktop when installed?

If it does take a second sim, its a hybrid.
But my phone comes up as XQ-AT51 and dual sim is XQ-AT52
A second sim will not physically fit.

Well that was annoying, seems if you swipe left after pressing the button there is a clear all button - *yawn*

Just need to work out now if the clock on the top left can be moved or turned off...
