I do have a bottle of this and a BdB on standby as well!

It's their "nature" (said in French accent) range, which is like the Extra Brut, or basically less sugar/ extra dry that a lot of brands are doing.

Interested to know which of the other brands..

RD is in that extra brut category with less sugar but also left on the lees for longer.

Brut Nature seems to have become quite popular over the last few of years, with some going that one extra step above Extra Brut and skipping the final dosage stage. I had a Japanese sparkling wine last year that was Natural (Brut Nature) and it was lovely. Surprisingly not that dry, with a perfect level of acidity and natural sweetness that really gave it great balance.

Unfortunately all I have for this Christmas is a bottle of Nyetimber BdB 2007 (yeah I know it's not really Champagne but it's a match for some of the real stuff!), and we normally get a bottle of Pol Roger NV from work. I'll certainly be keeping an eye out in Hedonism wines in case they get that Gosset multi-vintage cuvée in :).

Also, not sure if any of you guys watched the Wine Show on ITV4 (i'd like to assume you're all as sad as i am!)

They had a bottle of Moldovan sparkling wine, think it was by a vinyard called Cricova.... Yep, found it (along with a link to the wine show for anyone that missed it)

Any idea where i may be able to buy this in the UK? Only place i could find was a Moldovan wine shop but they wouldnt ship to the UK.
