Was going to get one today but decided against it. To many people are saying the seat padding goes quickly. Can't risk spending £120 for it not to last very long

Sorry for the resurrection, but mines started randomly lowering itself

Anyone had a problem like this? I can't really afford to buy a new one atm and with the news about Staples disappearing, I'm not sure how much longer they will be available to buy. I've never seen them anywhere else.

after about 3 years the armrests broke on mine which was the end of the chair as they are what hold the back on

I dont know what to get if I cant get another one. Every chair seems to be leather. I hate leather. I love the plush fabric of the Kashmir. It's so comfy.

Had mine 4 years now. Even with no padding (daily use at 17st) it's still comfortable, but for a bit more I could get a gaming chair. Best chair I've had in the last 16 years of sitting at desks.

Think I tried a staples chair, too soft you just sink in, can't think it does your back or posture any good. You want a chair hard as iron.

Hmm...

I wonder about a fabric/mesh/leather chair but dunno if it being softer would be either comfortable or good for me.

Can often spend the majority of a day sitting down.

Had the same wooden chair for ages, could be described as an oversize table chair (which it is) with wooden sections being between 3/4 to 2.5" oak.

I had requested a replacement Kashmir for my Christmas present, and it looks like they've discontinued it!

I made the mistake a couple of years ago of getting what looked like an 'upgraded' Kashmir from eBay, and it's nowhere near as good.

OK, after the initial panic (I've never found another chair half as comfy as a Kashmir) ...

The local Staples was replaced by an Office Outlet. They do a chair called the Damask, which looks suspiciously similar. Fingers crossed.

Have you got a product ID for the chair? EDIT: Don't worry found it!

Been looking for a new chair for a while and the Kashmir looks amazing but as we know, can't find it anywhere
