Hi Chaps, I'm hoping to join a crew on Friday night/Saturday night if you're around? Only managed to play the tutorials at the moment so would be a bit of a Noob on the bridge im afraid!

Think I've seen you on the STBC Discord as well?

Wow wow wow had a quick match and after the initial embarrassment I was well into it! Absolutely amazing!!

Does supersampling have a positive effect? I.e. If I crank it up will the game look better?

I've got a 4790k and GTX 1070 and put the graphics options to full with SS to 1.3 but not had a chance to check it out yet. What SS are you using Welshdragon and which graphics card?

Got a 4790k and a 1080. I set cpu effects to full and ss to 1.5 in bridge crew.

I've set master super sampling in the oculus settings to 1.6

Ok cool, if you're getting good results with those settings I should get away with 1.3 - 1.4 SS on the 1070 hopefully.

Set graphics to full and 1.6 SS through Oculus Debug, can tell the difference, very nice indeed, slowly working through the missions

Set effects to full on my 3770K (4.5GHz) and it ran well, although not 100% as smoothly (ASW kicked in a couple times). It does look way cooler though when you take damage, and the lightning in the anomalies is cool.

If you look in the install folder for the game and edit the config file there, you can directly set the SS so you don't have to run the debug tool.

Alternatively (just in case you haven't seen it), the Oculus Tray Tool lets you set up profiles for different games: https://forums.oculus.com/community...ng-profiles-hmd-disconnect-fixes-hopefully/p1
