Just grabbed Subnautica for £12 as it completed an "Intredip Explorers Bundle" (I already had Don't Starve).

I keep being tempted by Dusk. Normally, I wait for ages until a game is peanuts, but I seem to recall reading that the developer saying something along the lines of it being $20, no more, no less, now and in the future, or something. So, if true, maybe I should pick it up now.

One of the best games ever made? That's a bold statement, lol. The first one was half-decent, and the AI wasn't bad, but it was a system hog at the time. The sequels fell horribly short though.

There are much better shooters out there tbh!

Whilst I wouldn’t say best ever, it really is superb. It stands up very well graphically, the gun play is joyful, and the atmosphere is captured brilliantly.

It’s the best game I’ve played this year, and it’s thirteen years old!

If your gonna play F.E.A.R grab one of the Reshade graphics profiles to make it look half decent.

I have a good preset if you want.

I personally didn't think F.E.A.R. was all that, it was ok, but best game ever made?? Not even close IMO. It was a good example of a linear FPS game at best.

I never played any of the sequels.

Most enjoyable story based FPS for me. The expansions are also excellent, though it starts to go downhill from Fear 2 onwards, IMO.

It was a decent game that at the time seemed like it had some advanced AI. Then they told us how they did it and the AI no longer seemed so special.

Ok so I did say one of the best games ever made and not the best ever game and I was referring to the first game + expansions, not the overall franchise which I agree the sequels never matched the original. Also I didn't add 'in my opinion' to the post but that's what it is/was. If a game made 13 years ago continues to hold up and be significantly better than most games since then I think it's fair to say it's a contender for a top ever games list. The game still looks great too in my opinion, particularly at 3440x1440 which it supports natively.

First F.E.A.R and it's expansions are excellent, however the third game is one of the worst i've had the displeasure of playing, totally ignores what made the first so good.

I'm still deciding if I should get Witcher 3: Game of the Year Edition for £14 with all the DLC's and Squad for £17.
Both seem very tempting but will I have time to play them :rolleyes:

Thought i could get the mrs Subnautica cheap but its a different Don't Starve shes got so the discount doesnt apply

It's Don't Starve Together in that pack, which is odd because Subnautica isn't multiplayer. If she plays Don't Starve and knows people who also play Don't Starve, then everyone getting DST is cool because you can all play together. That said, I believe they are still working on expansions for the 'normal' Don't Starve so the whole thing is kinda screwy and odd.

Spent exactly thirty notes and that's my lot. GTA V, Dyling Light Enhanced and Train Valley. Train Valley is the best couple of quid I've spent in a very long time. Such a fantastic little game.
