Wedding weekend in somewhere past Swansea... Considering I thought Swansea was as far as it got, I was surprised by how far England keeps on going. :eek:

Very tiring as diet and sleep have been rubbish... But there we go. Legs felt awesome afterwards (are still humming nicely).























And yes - I am just joshing about the whole England thing, before anybody asks. ;) I know Swansea isn't as far as one can go! :D

Did some cable-machine back work on some day this week, which meant today was clearly legs.

Happy with the squatting, but it could have been better. More sleep is definitely required.

Did some cable back'n'bize earlier in the week. Then some bizentrize yesterday. And some squats.

Session was late, so I was knackered and decided to go for a "rest" day...

CLEAN PULL (5) 100-100-100 Technique shot to a smelly heap to start with, but got better for the last set.

I also did some pressing yesterday in my work's main gym and almost managed three sets of five for OHP at 60kg (last set managed four reps). Just to see if I could do it. Shame I can't do jerks/PP at home...
 
Finally got back into the gym after acquiring a new cocker spaniel puppy... The little piranha needs to make some gains.

BACK SQUAT (12) 90-90-90(16) Set the timer for 5 minutes, got 16 reps in on the last set and then couldn't face any more. So lame.

BACK SQUAT 60(3)-90(42) Errrrmagersh. That was foul.

So. In five minutes I managed 42; I was duffed up by 4:30 but figured that was more than that fey git of a cyclist and therefore enough. :D

Legs are ruined. Very ruined. :eek:
 
42! :O I'm tempted to try this but very scared at the same time...

To be fair, what hurt the most was my upper back-dated keeping that tension for five minutes was actually painful.

Yes, my legs are tired and sore today, but they aren't actually that bad. It wasn't the sort of thing that left me close to vomiting (10RM on DBSS is actually worse), it was just metabolic irritation. If that is a thing.

Probably a hint that I didn't try hard enough. :(
