Summer Transfer Thread 2019

Reportedly a fee of £88m potentially rising to £130m for Hazard has been agreed between Real and Chelsea. Depending on how realistic the add-ons in this deal are, Chelsea have potentially done very well to get so much.

Madness, he's a long way down the pecking order. Probably got 5 players ahead of him in his position and he's 32 next season. Would serve the end of his career better if he moved on rather than sat on the bench, he could do a decent job for someone like a Watford or Leicester or Wolves.
 
Real shame the likes of Hazard are moving abroad, on his day one of the best in the league.

All this talk about De Ligt and City are rarely mentioned as front runners. Not quite sure I understand that, they obviously desperately need a centre half to go alongside Laporte.

There were some links during the season tbf. His agent is Raiola, who really doesn't get on with Pep, so that might be a reason why they're seemingly not in for him.

Presumably he knows Liverpool will be involved in trophies and by sticking around he might get a few medals if he gets some game time. He's not going to get that anywhere else.

That and the fee is absolutely insane for a half decent centre back. By all accounts his wage demands are massive aswell.
