He looks good, on YouTube at least. Arsenal need a defence and better midfield to challenge top four though.

You've signed a lad who's had one good season in the French league for 72 million.

I think he's a better option then Zaha dont get me wrong but comparing him to the players at my club he isnt a patch on Mane or Salah and would probably be fighting Shaqiri for a spot.
Get Tierney in and you should get top four...largely because Chelsea wont and United havent made a move yet.

Fighting Shaqiri? Get real. Shaqiri’s not good enough for you or anyone in the top 6.
Does Pepe get in ahead of our front three? No. Therefore he's fighting Shaqiri for a spot.
Genuinely how will Arsenal line up next season? Is it going to be a 442 type deal or 433?

4-3-3 imo. Those three up front and maybe Torreira, Xhaka and Ceballos in midfield. Don’t know about Ozil. He seems a bit of an odd man out now. Unless we sacrifice Torreira and play him as a roaming AM.
Still got an abundance on the bench too. Guendouzi, Iwobi, Mkhitaryan, Nelson, Nketiah, Willock, even Saka’s a promising player.

In all seriousness, the guy we have at Arsenal now is what we’ve needed for years. Raul’s contacts and network must be gigantic the amount of time he’s been in the game and as DoF at Barca. It’s almost like having another David Dein.

I think Pepe's a fantastic signing for Arsenal and they'll be a fantastic stepping stone for him.
