I wouldn't give him the satisfaction of leaving, i'd make it see out his contact training with their youth team.

Even if the new players Arsenal bought in hit the ground running I can't see them challenging for the title, Chelsea, Spurs, Arsenal & United fighting for fourth, Wolves have an outside chance but I can't see past the usual contenders.

It will be a very interesting season for once.

We needed a solid defender and got one. Money is mad but happy on the whole. Hope that opens the floodgates for completing the other bits and pieces we’ve got going on.

He has 1 year left on his contract and wanted another year, and says he was promised it. The board have said no, so he wants to leave for free and sign for 2 years somewhere else.

Back 4 of Shaw, Lindelof, Maguire and AWB is pretty tasty. Hope we can get either Fernandes or Dybala over the line now. Much rather have Fernandes though as Dybala seems a bit of a hot head. We also have a lot of promising youth from the pre-season so the Europa league might be a blessing in disguise from that point.

How good is Dybala? Ronaldo has told him to go, I kinda think if he was really good, he would want him to stay.

Lets be honest, VVD wasn't the player he has proven to be when you signed him. He would easily go for over £100m now. I'm not convinced by Maguire massively but if he does what we hope and makes our defence more solid then it will have a rippled effect throughout the team.
