Summer Transfer Thread 24/25

Even just on this site, compare the number of pages the United thread has to the other teams. Appreciate that's partly due to the last decade but still, it's a massive thread compared to others...

He can only site "data" from Liverpool's official website. Even looking at sky sports premier league channel opening weekend. Man United game had most views by quite some margin.

It's an artictle  if you've got anything to refute it you are more than welcome to post it. As with most things you won't back up anything you spout off on here though.

Looks like Morton could be off to Leverkusen on loan. He's done really well the last couple of seasons on loan in the Championship but that would be a big step up for him and represents a bit of a risk for us. If he doesn't perform then his value will take a hit, although the flip side of that is if he does well we could be looking at a big fee for him in 12 months.

In other news it's being reported that Salzburg are after Bajcetic on loan. If he is to leave then that's just about the perfect move for him. After 18 months of injuries he needs a season of playing regularly and going to Salzburg under Pep, who knows him and brought him through at Liverpool offers him the best chance of that happening.

Been a very active window so far. I'm on nights tonight then i'm off the rest of the week. Time to get SSN on and Romano etc followed all day long surrounded by snacks

We’ve opened talks to sign Sterling :p Swap deal for Sancho.

I actually think he could offer something - certainly more than Sancho - but the wages will be a problem…

Eddie is having a medical with Palace. Is he really better than Mateta and Edourde? Nice to get him off the books but we need another striker in as Jesus is not proflic and seems to be a bit of a sick one.

This would be the maddest transfer of the summer. Two sides with massively underperforming players on huge contracts deciding the best solution is to swap them.

Indeed, it's a strange one. Seems that Dan Ashworth thinks it's a good idea.

Manchester United have opened talks over a deal for Raheem Sterling but will only progress in a swap for Jadon Sancho on their own terms.

It is understood that United sporting director Dan Ashworth was in dialogue with Chelsea earlier on Tuesday over a sensational package that would see the two England forwards move in opposite directions.

With Sterling frozen out of the first-team squad, United are determined to make his situation at Stamford Bridge work to their advantage by paying no outlay to land the Premier League’s third-highest scorer among those currently playing in the competition.

Suppose neither club is worse off if they can't shift either player? Perhaps a change of scenery will do both some good. Not that it did Sancho a great deal last season. And is Sterling going to bring negativity to OT?
