**Summer Transfer Thread: News, Rumours and Speculation**

Seems the deal for Bayo has fallen through at last moment, but we have signed Craig Beattie on a 3 year deal along with Trundle on a 3 month loan deal.

Bit more happy about that.

Just read the same thing as you posted lol.

Bayo is a handy powerhouse to have though, granted hes never going to score you lots of goals but hes a beast!

Where was Beattie from?

More problems for Liverpool after their bad start to the season.

:D brilliant ! :D

busy weekend of deals coming up I suspect..last minute madness as people frantically scrape round for players!

Indeed, Sky loved it last season and I can see it been fairly exciting again this year. Pompy actually have some money to spend now ? Are they going to buy some players ? :p

Robben---Toni/Klose----Ribery is a hell of a frontline.
:( Indeed.

Actually look forward to seeing something of them in the German league, and will be good to see how they cope against the best in Europe :)

Dunne in talks with Villa. Could understand this as Lescott just joined, but isnt Dunne the club captain at Man City?

Seems like a good way out to me, avoids the embarrassment of having a captain who isn't in the starting XI. Plus despite some improved form in recent years I'll never forget the absolute beasting Henry gave him a few years back, I think they should cash in on him now.
