Seems the deal for Bayo has fallen through at last moment, but we have signed Craig Beattie on a 3 year deal along with Trundle on a 3 month loan deal.

West Brom, he was at loan with Palace last year and scored 5 goals in 15 games, he also scored two midweek in the carling cup for West Brom.

Seems like a good way out to me, avoids the embarrassment of having a captain who isn't in the starting XI. Plus despite some improved form in recent years I'll never forget the absolute beasting Henry gave him a few years back, I think they should cash in on him now.

I don't rate Toni at all, ok at club level but has always looked a joke when I've seen him for Italy. I rate Klose far higher though.
