**Summer Transfer Thread: News, Rumours and Speculation**

Spurs and Portsmouth have agreed a fee of £4m for Boateng!

There's been a crazy amount of dealings between us and Pompey lately. Defoe (x2), Kaboul, Pamarot, Davis, Mendes, Crouch, Harry and now KP Boateng.... plus ex-Spurs like Brown and Campbell.

No way he's worth £4m though... I don't know how Levy does it.

Apparently O'Hara is going aswell on loan, I'm not too happy about that though..

Perhaps giving them a few players so we can nab Kranjcar? ;)

I'd say Boateng has a fair bit of potential, he's just not flourished as he hasn't been able to break into the first team. The through ball he supplied to Pav the other night was class.

O'Hara is quality though, he is a great player to have on the bench so unless someone else is coming in I'm surprised he's allowed to go out on loan.

The question is whether Spurs still have the best squad with those gone.
We won't miss KPB at all and we've just recouped £4m for a player worth approx £1m at that most.

Though apparently Portsmouth demanded we loaned them O'Hara until January as part of the large KPB fee to help them out. Without O'Hara there was no deal.... too much to turn down really.

Potential? Sick of hearing that word about our players tbh. Potentially might be ok but for now he's definately ****! ;) One of the worst Spurs players I've seen for a while and that's saying something.... what on earth was going on when we spent £5m on him I'll never know.

Shev is on a silly wage isn't he ?

£120, 000 ?

would be interesting to see who goes in for him.

Nobody in their right mind would purchase him for more than tuppence as he's shot so wherever he ends up it'll be free (or near as damnit) and probably on a pay per play deal, perhaps Man.U. will be interested in cover for Owen?

:p couldn't see him going to Manchester United!

Phil Brown might want him ;)
or Big Sam ;)

Can I ask the fellow Liverpool fans on here;

What with seeing Robben and Sneijdner both leave Madrid for roughly just over £20m for the both is it?? Do you think Rafa should have gone in for them and forgot about Aquilani who as we know isnt fit for maybe another month. I know buying this calibre of player isnt easy, but does Liverpool still have the buying clout with the big teams? I fear not. To me buying them two players for roughly what we paid for one player would make much more sense!!

I am really struggling to see why Rafa continues to buy poor players, season after season then complains he has no funds.

No, because all RM would do is overvalue their player and still undervalue Alonso. Straight cash deal was best. Not to mention that neither player is a suitable replacement.

Also, Aquilani hasnt even played a game yet and now he's a poor player?
