I actually rate him quite highly. His first season was very stop start but he's grown into his position and seems to have grown physically aswell. Attacking full back who can capably defend aswell. Hoping he's not to expensive, should be ideal.

I believe he's only got 1 year left on his contract so I can't see him being too expensive. Not sure whether to read too much into what Thompson said though; it looked to me as if he didn't want to look as if he didn't know what was going on when the presenter of the show mentioned the Enrique deal.
Would be a decent signing if we got him though. Already settled in the country and imo, 1 of the most underrated fullbacks around.

Apparently Alexis Sanchez has informally agreed to join City this summer. I dont watch Udinese really so cant comment on him but from other people and videos he looks really good and will add much needed pace and width which Dzeko will strive on i think.
And another player who will throw a promising career down the pan if he joins City

The three most recent young players who have joined us have improved since joining us and all three have played for England. Two likely to be main stays in the future.

Given - one of the best keepers in the league year in year out at Newcastle now warming the bench at City
Barry - box to box midfielder at Villa, now a very crap holding midfielder at City
Lescott - very promising centre back at Everton now a pretty rubbish one at City and only getting in the team at the moment due to Toure's suspension
Milner - YPOTY last season at Villa, now utter garbage at City
Dzeko - bangs them in for fun at Wolfsburg can't hit a barn door at City
Balotelli - clearly not happy at City hence why he looks very average
I could go on.....

Given-Well he is injured. I would rather Hart anyway, better all round

Milner-Mancini is playing him on the wing.
Dzeko- Give him a chance to get used to the Premier League before you judge him.
Balotelli- He is looking average because he doesnt like he wants to play, your right but he doesnt help himself shooting from anywhere when he gets the ball.

For a lot of the players mentioned they need time to get used to the team i feel so it is a bit harsh to judge them now.

Probably yes but why does that mean we ruined his career? He chose our money over others.
You do realise it doesn't matter about the why's or wherefores fact is all of the players that I mentioned have seen their careers go down hill since joining City FAHCT!

Nothing.
He will be a little bit richer than had he stayed at united, but at the the end of it all, the only things he will ever be able to say he won will be with United, and thats why he has thrown it away, because the history books only remember the winners.
Well he chose to come to us at the end of the day. I am sure other clubs wanted him. He deserves to win something and he still might.

With Barry and Milner Villa have gone down hill massively. Both are still in the England team.
Lescott is now a regular in the England team and is now part of a top 4 club.
Dzeko has joined a top 4 club and has the chance to become a well known international striker.
etc etc.
Their careers in terms of silverware have not gone up.
