I don't understand the hype around Mata, whenever I've seen him play for Spain, he looks incredibly 1-dimensional. I don't think he'd do well in the Premier League tbh.

TBF I cant remember him doing anything against us in the two games against them last season (although I cant remember if he did actually play in the second game at OT)

Having said that though he's been class at the under 21's and likewise on the few occasions he got to play for Spain at last years world cup. I wouldn't want him to sign for Arsenal or Liverpool tbh

Fabregas hasn't gone, and won't be going until Barcelona make a substantially higher bid than their last one, at LEAST £45,000,000 or they can **** off. Also isn't Mata mainly played as a wide midfielder? If anything he'd be a replacement for Nasri.

Personally I wish Fabregas would leave just so we don't have the same boring will he/wont he rubbish EVERY SINGLE TRANSFER WINDOW! :rolleyes:

Great player but he clearly wants off, cash in and get someone else and then I can concentrate on watching the small print for next nobody Newcastle will sign :p

But it isn't Fabregas saying he wants to leave every summer, it's Barcelona saying that he wants to, Fabregas may have said once that one day he'd like to play for Barcelona, but 99% of the comments on it are made either by the Spanish newspapers or by Barcelona/Barca players. They're doing the same thing with Rossi. Pique coming out and saying he's a great person and a great player and that he'll fit right in at Barcelona, that he belongs there etc...

It's absolutely disgraceful and if it were any other team they'd probably get warned about their conduct but because it's Barcelona it's deemed acceptable.

To be honest I didn't realise this because I'm so fed up with it I tend to skip the articles :p
 
Would LOVE to see Jimmy Milner come back to Villa.

Anyone who saw him destroy Scott Parker in his last game for us before he went to City will see what he's capable off - he's a Villa favourite and we'd love him back.

IF Downing goes to Liverpool - Milner and N'Zogbia plus around £10m in cash would be a fair compromise I feel!
 
I hate Twitter.

Only because I wish some of this stuff was true. I want Modric now as I've accepted we won't get Sneijder most likely :(
