Well I read that when he brought Clarke in, Lee was still under the title of being assistant manager, but Steve Clarke was pretty much fulfilling that role and pushed Lee to the side a bit. I'm guessing Sammy Lee hasn't been liking his lesser role maybe.

Clarke is a machine of a coach though, I'd have him over Sammy Lee any day, don't rate him at all.

He worked with Fat Sam at Bolton so it wouldn't be that much of a surprise.

I'm not sure whether he's walked or been pushed but either way I imagine Clarke's appointment would have been the deciding factor.
 
Makes sense really, lees role was much diminished by clarkes arrival, makes sense for him to move elsewhere. Nothing major though, not the first time he has left Liverpool.

I think somebody is taking the ****. He didn't say that, in fact he's finally given up his bs after he's well and truly been found out.
 
I honestly had to check to make sure he didn't say it. The guy's a total **** but it's scary the amount of people that believe his bs no matter how obvious it is.

I'm seriously considering starting a fake transfer/itk/agent account on twitter and I reckon that within a month I'd have 20k+ followers and be a hell of a lot more believable than 99% of the others.
 
It's easy. Newspaper says Liverpool are interested in Adam and hope to tie up the deal soon - you tweet the deals done and will be announced in the next few days. The likelihood is it'll happen soon and you'll claim to have broke the story but if it doesn't happen - Blackpool are stalling on concluding the deal, hoping to get more bidders but the player is intent on joining LFC. If Adam then joins Villa - Villa offered him more money and a guarantee of first team football which persuaded him to change his mind.

The Adam saga finally did it for him. Not only did he insist several times that Adam to Liverpool was a done deal during the January window, only to be proved wrong, he's made a right **** of himself with this summers episode. First it was agreed and he'd sign when he was back off holiday, then it was off again and that if it's not done by last Tuesday we're pulling out and then Saturday is rubber stamped, only for us to find out today that we've not even made an official bid yet.

The whole Sanchez thing has gone extremely quiet recently, far from the media frenzy of a few weeks ago. I suspect now nothing will happen till after the Copa America and I suspect it's Barca's renewed interest in Fabregas that has put it all up in the air again to begin with - they agree a fee with the club and a deal with the player but put the whole thing on hold on the off chance they can get Csec and if that happens then they screw Sanchez over.... That's my thinking on it anyway.

Last I read regarding our interest in him was that we pulled out of the deal once the fee went above £27m, I suspect the recent stories linking Chelsea with him are purely agent driven more than anything else so at this point I reckon after all this he'll still be at Udinese next season.

In other news The Mirror reporting that Arsenal have agreed a £34m fee with Barca (read that a few times over the past couple of days) and United will put in a £20m offer for Nasri. Regarding Nasri maybe he's just got a great agent but there seems to be a lot more stories in the media about us in for him this summer than anything really about us being interested in Modric. Anything Modric based seems to be coming from twitter :(

Still Nasri wouldn't be a bad second choice should it happen (which I doubt)
 
Isn't it Alpherah on here who has an ITK friend who works at the Liverpool training ground?

Isn't he also the same guy who also believes everything he reads on Twitter?

Has anything 'his mate' said ever come to fruition?

Didn't he say last week "Adam is signed and it'll be announced tomorrow" or something to that effect?

He's mentioned something about a source before but I think it's just what he reads on twitter and rawk. When I questioned his Adam stuff at the weekend he claimed he got it from a guy who's basically the sidekick to the guy I regularly abuse.

Don't believe what he says but need some crap to read on twitter, until followed babel as he ****ed me off.
