I thought Benzema was supposed to be terrible? Or at least that's what a few people on here said.
Would we get him though? If Chelsea or City come in its curtains.

Then how do you explain these which were taken in London yesterday?

He can't be on holiday as well as training the squad... it's just lazy journalism from The Sun.![]()
To be fair you were convinced De Gea wasn't going to sign despite the writing being on the wall for months so hopefully if you were that wrong about him you'll be equally as wrong about Nasri signing
As for Sneijder do you know what he earns at Inter at the moment? I only ask because all reports say his dream club is United so as long as the club agree the £35m fee with Inter I dont see agreeing wages being much of an issue
That said I dont honestly believe we'll sign both but I reckon we'll get at least one, we cant afford to go into next season without tbh
Indeed, 26 goals and 9 assists last season (Benzema), not too bad at all. He's very, very good. Much better than £15m.

Its been reported Wes is on £175k/week currently
I'm all excited now. Foolish though I know.![]()
To be fair all I said re De Gea was I was worried he continually seemed to change his mind (there were articles about him mid-summer quoting directly he could stay)
Ok I hold my hands up, I fell for it - but very glad he signed and deal is now complete.
Its been reported Wes is on £175k/week currently - now whether thats true is an entirely different matter but its not inconcievable by any stretch (and with tax laws here, anything less would be an even bigger drop after tax). I would be MUCH happier with Utd signing Wes than Nasri - Im sure the latter has a lot of potential, but Wes is a European great without a doubt (even if it would mean tactical /positional changes to an otherwise pretty decent team)
Wes Brown joins Sunderland from Manchester United on a four-year deal.
Wes Brown is on 175'000 a week? LOL
No, I think he's pretty good and just needs a proper chance.
Well that's ruined my joke then hasn't it![]()
