Yes every single player to sign for City say's its all about success, yet you and everyone else call them mercenaries, but when it suits you, your argument changes.
Running Arsenal like a business, really, letting Henry, Vieira, Flamini, Gilberto, Eduardo, Gallas, Pires, etc, etc, etc all for pathetic money, while even idiots like Redknapp and Benitez got great value on most deals.
We are throwing 60k a week down the drain on Diaby, despite being injured more than fit for his entire time, he gets a new deal every couple years and pay bumps, despite being horrifically awful when he does play. So 3 mil a year on Diaby, 2.5mil a year on Denilson, similar on Song, similar on Eboue, similar on Eduardo, bendtner, and it goes on, and on and on.
Spending 100k a week on a great player is less of a waste than spending 20k a week on Denilson, he never will be good enough for Arsenal, therefore every single penny spent is wasted, and the fact that we've had a bunch of these 2-4mil a season players either not playing or no where near good enough, for 6 years, with no change....... thats a well run business?

40k a week could have been going on another player, instead it goes on Denilson, get rid, bring in a new guy, if he sucks, get rid, bring in a new guy. You'd be TRYING to improve, not believing you have a guy who is good enough.

Hands up which Arsenal fan believes with the SQUAD WE HAVE, with players on the bench, with the right formation and a defensive coach who knows how to defend, that the current team is capable of winning the league.......... yes, just one, me.
Theres one problem at Arsenal, Wenger, nothing else, just the one. Most Arsenal fans on here think there are countless problems and hate the wrong half of the team.
Bendtner, lol, if Caroll had set up 2 goals, scored a goal , against Barca, been instrumental in another, everyone on here would be creaming themselves. RVP and everyone else gets injured, Wenger finally plays Bendtner and he gets, 6 goals 6 assists in the league, in 12 games, 5 goals in 5 champs league games, including against Barca......... but we're going to likely let him leave for well under half his value, because Wenger plays a system that doesn't suit the squad, nor his tactics and because the fans don't like the fact that Bendtner is, really confident(and not English).
Arsenal do not need to spend 50mil to be competitive, transfer fee's are incredibly small compared to wages. We've been consistantly in the top 3 wage spenders(till City) and yet people pretend its an achievement to be in the top 4. Its the bare minimum, we can replace every underperforming player, with equally priced players, and still see a massive improvement. Its not the need to spend, its not the need to run Arsenal worse with higher fee's, its Wengers absolute inability to see when players aren't good enough. We spend circa £110-120mil a year on wages, 20-30mil of that is literally completely wasted, its been wasted for YEARS, add it up, 6 years of a lot of utterly useless players, woeful, really woefully bad shirt/stadium sponsorship deal thats getting closer to 150-200mil LESS than the top teams over the length of the deal.
I still think we can put out an awesome team, but we never do, and frankly I believed it more last year with Gallas in the team, any injuries though and we wouldn't, because those guys mentioned, who apparently everyone on earth but Wenger thinks are utterly useless, aren't good enough, yet they receive the same wages of players who would be good enough, thats the problem.
