You think he's ready to make the step up to regular?
He has done well while out on loan, and his recent contract extension also points to him being promised first team football.
You think he's ready to make the step up to regular?
Yeah, although they have Biscuits and Mascherano always sitting deep, so they'd probably get away with it.
they never play both of them together, its usually one or the other.
even with 1 holding mid, you cant really play 3 at the back, especially busquets who is still learning the role so to speak, he is average at best and needs much more experience. mascherano could do the job but pep uses him as a backup/bench player mostly.
there is no way barcelona should change their whole setup to accomodate 1 player. the people even thinking for longer than 10 seconds on the matter really need to be see sense.
their best option as already stated by me is, drop pedro, move iniesta to pedro's position and let fabregas take iniesta's role.
their keeper isnt as good as everyone thinks he is and alves is more of a right mid than right back, so losing another defender isnt going to help at all.
Just seen on the Fletcher BBC story that only Young out of our 3 signings will be on the US tour, anyone know why? Was quite looking forward to seeing them![]()
Manchester City striker Craig Bellamy has refused to take a wage cut to smooth the way for a return to former club Celtic. (Daily Record)
how much is he on?
i dont know what celtic's wages are but im guessing the best players are on £20-30K a week.
Probably because De Gea/Jones were playing till not long ago in the U21 tournament?
The following players will join the tour after their agreed leave time: Chris Smalling, Danny Welbeck, Tom Cleverley, David de Gea, Phil Jones, Javier Hernandez.
Oh good lord... what have you done!?!Iniesta > Fabregas in midfield.
Correct. Just the same as Welbeck, Cleverly, Smalling etc.
