I wouldn't say Rafael, Smalling or VDS have been nearly as good as Nani this season. I'd argue that even Berbatov (despite his goals) and Hernandez (mainly due to being in and out the side) haven't been as consistent as Nani has been.

Vidic is the only 1 I'd mention alongside Nani on this seasons form.

Everything goes through Nani therefore he always looks better.

That makes his stats look great.

The 99 times Nani picks the wrong option is forgotten about when the 100th shot goes in.

I can see what you mean, but he is getting it 'right' more and more frequently this season.

I think it would be a mistake to sell him as he is one of the few EPL players with the ability to completely outfox the lower league opposition, and we all know how important that is from watching Ronaldo.

The problem is that he's far better on the right hand side, and Valencia can only play on the right hand side, so we're a bit stuffed at the minute

Welbeck may come back in the summer but also Sunderland want him and we want Jordan Henderson.

Its not a huge leap of faith to see the potential for a deal to be done.
