Honda :D

Love him, think he'd do well in the Premiership and at Liverpool.

I like Aqua man, but think that he's almost certain to stay back in Italy, which is a bit of a shame, as you'd like to see good players play week in week out, and the way Liverpool are improving and playing under Kenny he'd suit them.

Any strength in the rumour that 'Arry RedI'llbuyanyonebutI'mnotawheelerdealerknap is after Johnson from 'Pool? Would you let him go with a decent fee?

As we have Kelly , I'd be happy to let Johnson go for the right price.

I remember us being linked with him a while back while looking for CBs during the summer.

He's looked good for Palermo in that one game I watched.

All I can is thank god we splashed the cash for Koscielny.

I love the made up stuff this time of year...

From the BBC's transfer gossip ^

Another player I would bat an eyelid about losing for that kind of money. He's had maybe half a good season the whole time he's been at everton and at times is a friggin liability.

£20 million yes please, I've always assumed we would end up losing millions on this guy. To break even would be a dream come true, to make a profit well the story must be BS.
Thought it was funny too, especially given the buyers and the fact that while Fellaini hasn't been a flop, he hasn't set the world alight either. Amusing that Real are thought to be 'coming in' for him.

Are Real trying to corner the market in midfielders by any chance - Even if they sold 2 or 3 they would still have a selection most top teams (maybe except for Barca) would kill for

Bad sounds coming from the 'ITKs'(not reliable source but the guy calling it got our January window pretty much spot on) about Reina, hopefully we could get Neuer(sp) or someone as a replacement.
Although if there's one player I'd never want to lose it's reina.

I would think Reina is definitely off. I was a little surprised he stayed this year but I always felt if you didn't get back in the Top 4 this year he'd go in the summer

Old Trafford is waiting for you Pepe ;)

Complimentary prawn sandwiches when he signs?

Seriously think it is the only place he would go and its sickening.
He is also seriously daft to stick it out this long and go now when things are clearly on the up.

Can't wait. Fergie knows that there was too long between Schmeichel leaving and VDS arriving. If we could somehow pull off a Reina signing so that VDS retires and Reina takes over that would be a pretty perfect signing in terms of the gap between VDS and Reina. :)

Because Next year is clearly your year :D

Im not knocking you (well.....much), but there are a lot of teams that need to put in serious investment to keep up (and compete) with the likes of Chelsea and Man City next season

Spurs will keep their big stars (Bale , Modric and a few others), but they still need a top notch goal scorer, more consistant gk and maybe a top quality defender

Man Utd....at the very least a creative midfielder (not incl Cleverly) and a box -to -box man/hard challanger....wouldnt mind a centre-half that can be a reliable stand-in for Smalling / Vidic who can play more than 1/2 a season too. Obviously a g/k as well

Arsenal.......apart from possibly spending big on a g/k , everyone knows AW wont spend big individually, but he may well get in 3 good prospects

Liverpool will probably get a decent transfer kitty from Reina and Aqua-man (and change from Torres signing too I guess), but will probably spend more on top

Will g/k prices soar with Man Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal/ Chelsea, Bayern, Athletico all potentially chasing new keepers

(yes I know Liverpool still have a chance at getting a top four place - therefore keeping Reina, but its a longgggggggg shot surely?.........not as much a long shot as Utd pulling off the miracle of signing him directly from Liverpool - I just cant see that ever happening in a month of Sundays and a tanker-load of prawn sarnies)

Well considering we finished 7th last year and looked nailed on to finish higher this year after being in bottom 3 for a decent length of time i'd say things are on the way up. Maybe next year is our year, to get back in the top 4.

From the looks of the signals we are getting from the owners, camolli and everyone associated with the club we will be spending decent money in the summer, many expecting as many as 7 names to come in.

I'd expect a decent kitty from our deadwood players too, i'd also expect fsg to throw some of their own money at it as they did for the red sox.

I'd say theres more chance of Reina joining you than us getting top4, he has said he will never swear eternal love, basically preparing supporters to a move to either yourselves or Arsenal.

Starting to dislike these spaniards, think they can demand moves to wherever they want to get instant success after a club makes them big and is going through a rough time, particularly a keeper with probably 12+years left in him.

Don't know if mentioned but Arsenal apparently put in 3 bids for Reina in the summer, don't know how cecil didn't bite their hands off if it was anything over 5 million.
