Pretty much every top-level footballer goes on holiday almost immediately after the end of the season, whether they had a good or a bad one. It's pretty much one of the only extended periods of the year they get to themselves/family.

We really dug our heels in… gave them another £5m. Sigh. Really showed them who’s boss.
But least we don’t have to read about our crappy transfer management and Mount again.

Journalists are reporting that the 5m addons are hard to achieve and we'll be delighted if we do. So really it switched from 50+5m easier addons to 55 basic and 5m difficult addons. It's not too bad.

No, I get it. It’s just we didn’t really turn the screw like I was hoping. They still got the extra 5 out of us. All that happened was a week past and we sort of, kinda bottled it… maybe I’m being too harsh.
 
Is it me, or are Chelsea leaving themselves amusingly light in midfield? Assuming that Mount, Kante, and Loftus-Cheek all go, and with Havertz and Kovacic gone, by my calculations they'll only have Enzo, Zakaria, Chukwemeke and Gallagher left.

Are they linked with anyone? They're at risk of being a team of strikers and wingers and nothing else.

Even then, you have Enzo and Zakaria who looks decent, Gallagher who is bang average, Chukwemeke who is unproven, and Caicedo. If you lose any of your first choices (Caicedo, Enzo or Zakaria) you're in an incredibly weak position.

Edit: To be clear, when I say you I don't literally mean you, I know you're not a Chelsea fan!
