I may be remembering this incorrectly but didn't the vast majority of his goals come in a purple patch in the middle of the season? I thought he was pretty poor early on and towards the end. He's clearly a good player and when on form is up there but it doesn't seem like he's consistent enough.

It coincides with the teams performance as a whole really.

Yea thats true and his still young. The chances of of him becoming a Aubameyang mk2 are slim but we never ever imagined Aubameyang going to crap after he signed as well.

Aubamayang has always had question marks over his attitude.

We have to give Rashford top wages because if we don't someone else will and then we'll have to spend even more trying to replace him and they'll be on high wages too.

This is unfortunately the reality and the players know it. Its the reason players have zero issues downing tools when the manager does something they don't like. They know that someone else will likely pay them a similar amount or more if they leave and the club has to pay them regardless unless they do something monumentally stupid.

Yeah, he had a really good patch part way into the season which ran until about 2 months ago. Hes been pretty poor since then.

Hes not consistent enough but part of the drop off might be due to the whole team having a bit of a slide. Perhaps the slide is Rashfords fault. Yeah probably that

At least Rashford's inconsistency is leading to spells of good form.

Most of Utd's other forwards are just consistently mediocre at best.

Ornstein reporting if Mount decides to leave Chelsea then he wants Man Utd as his priority. Might be some truth in this interest, others have pointed out that Mount used to play for Vitesse so ETH is pretty familiar with him for some time.

Striker is the big one for us, lots of talk we're going straight for Kane and want a deal done quickly, but I just can't see that happening.

Don't really rate him, 50mil isn't a huge amount these days but 250k+ per week is.

Yeah, I hate saying this as it’s been wrong so many times before, but I feel confident we’re getting Rice.
