I thought REM was in the lighter stages of sleep when your mind was recovering then deep sleep was later where your body is recovering.
It seems like something that can't be controlled? Not that I would ever worry about getting the correct amount of sleep cycles.
Now now Mr. cranky, no harm in us discussing something that I personally make use of 3 times a day![]()
I miss pre workouts
Training in the evening blows
Brb taking pre workout then not getting to sleep until 3am
Usually 7:15-7:30 depending on when I get out of work
I asked my GP that and he said that his cousin has started taking protein shakes etc and it turned out they had trace amounts of steroids, which is maybe why you can see the improvements more easily and quickly.
Creatine is really good but you take it a for month then month off etc otherwise your kidneys will literally explode.
Protein shakes is probably a good starting point, but don't get scammed and buy some ****** very cheap ones.
tbh a really good well balanced diet and working different groups of muscles should just do the trick.
