Tabletop Warhammer?

Well we were all like that at one point, it's not too hard to pick up. We use a shared dropbox folder that has all the rules you need so if you want to have a read just trust me your email address and I can invite you.
 
I'm up for this. Looking to get back into it, but like MoNkeE, I'd need a refresher on the rules, not played for 7-8 years :(
 
Well I'm happy to run refresher/introduction games on Vassal to get people familiar with the program and rules. I've only played two games of 6th edition so I'm still getting to grips with the changes (I keep forgetting about look out, sir rolls!)

I know, sorry bud.

I'm back and forth between UK and DK until pretty much the end of May, got a huge set up project as well until June time too so I'm pretty much a write off. The odd times I'm about I will be seeing the Missus, family and friends rather than on the PC. :(

Keep your army list though and we can have a friendly at some point to see who would have won?

I'm still 100% up for it, just for the reasons above I can't really commit to anything and pointless keeping the season running for another 2 month in hope I can manage to get on.

commander - Shami (you whitewashed us all!)
army - I liked woogies, even though the best bit about it (Typhus) ran screaming like a girl away from my Lord :p
Fair play - woogie. In my game we didn't agree rules on cover and he was good enough to give me a 4+ save for my raining Warrior.... Who promptly passed them all I won!!!!! :D

Can we have a best unit?

If so I'm being selfish and nominating the evil as sin Swarmlord or the Neo warrior :D
 
The Swarmlord wasn't that effective :p I completely understand you having to pull out, I'm not mad at that really (I'm more annoyed with Brabbinho not even letting us know, but I guess there could be circumstances we don't know about!).

What do you want to do about the planning for season 2, do you have anything more than what's in the drop box or do you want me to expand on it?

My votes are:

Commander - JHeaton, was in two minds about this because he used his army appallingly against me :p But the improvement in his tactics in the next couple of games was evident.

Army - Brabbinho, I really liked his list

Fair Play - Again JHeaton, he's gracious in both defeat and victory, you can't ask more.

Unit - Wraiths, seriously they had such a long kill list :D
 
Id be up for this. Would help me get to grips with 6th edition quicker since ive not played in 10yrs or so and i taking ages to paint to actually get into the store to play

I've assembled my Jetbike from Studio Mcvey (This one) and it really is a beautiful model, a little bit fiddly in places though (there are a few really small bits) Not decided on a colour scheme yet though.
 
I'm still waiting... I've noticed quite a few customers asking/demanding updates of their orders on facebook and all their messages just get deleted. :( If only their shop was close to me, I'd love to drop by

Edit: Just received an email 1 minute ago saying my order has been dispatched! lol How many weeks does it take from here Shami? :p

Did you order end of Feb? I ordered just over a month ago (10th March) from Total Wargamer and still waiting... Although I was assured it would be this week.

Amusing considering the TW order included the Daemons codex and Wayland have already sent out my Tau codex...
