Shami- What was the website you posted with the painting/modelling tutorials?

Thought I would post a few wip's of my first Minotaur Squad. I'm undecided whether to add verdigris or not and if so how much to go for. I still need to do a few details and the shoulder pads but pretty happy with how they are turning out so far.

CC most welcome :) Apologies for the lighting- should have taken them earlier in the day.

These 3 are the furthest on so far:

These sound quite interesting:

- Blood For The Blood God: add realistic blood effects to your miniatures.
- Nihilakh Oxide: Create a verdigris finish on your models.
- Agrellan Earth: Create a cracked earth effect on the bases of miniatures.
- Nurgle's Rot: The perfect paint to add pustules, snot or any manner of disgusting buboes.
- Typhus Corrosion: A wash that, when applied, leaves streaks of oily rust.
- Ryza Rust: Drybrush this over Typhus Corrosion to get a great rust effect.

It may be in this months WD that they are shown in use, they do actually look good but the ryza rust & nihlakh oxide are a tad too bright for my taste. The blood paint looks to be a similar type to tamil's clear red but a bit darker.

There's some videos on YouTube on how to use them. They look quite decent.

I usually use MIG/Forgeworld powders for dirtying up models. I'll definitely give these a go though.

I bought a necron starter pack from the site you linked us :) Thank you by the way. I am looking to do them black/ice blue. What I am having problems with is the green rods. would you recommend undercoating them black and painting them with the colours I will be going for.

I have tired the bay but not getting anywhere with it

Has anyone else had their chin hit the floor the GW have released bundle deals that actually seem to be a good deal?

The Eldar box is £128 on Element Games and includes:

3x Wraithguard boxes
2x Wraithlords
1x Wraithknight

At retail price from GW that comes to £216 separately!!

I've got a load of IG I no longer want, anyone know of any good sites for advertising them? I'd prefer not to use ebay, I seem to recall someone mentioning a similar site but just for figures?...
