That's an Imperial Knight, not a Reaver. Reaver's have a third weapon on the top part of the carapace above the head.

I have not been following the gw gossip, for a few months but I checked in on a few sites today and it seems a lot has happened recently- 25%drop in share price and white dwarf going weekly, what are your thoughts guys?

Yeah I've never looked at apoc rules. Will be interested to see how this fits into 40k

It has a D strength chainsword so I'd imagine it's a super heavy walker. They can't just add D weapons into 40k surely?

They already have. Escalation is officially part of 40k, it's not like Forgeworld where you're still supposed to inform your opponent before.

Yeah I suppose. I tend to think of escalation as an extra thing since I haven't seen anyone round here really paying it without agreeing it beforehand.

So after coming back to 40K after a 10 year break and then spending a few months getting used to all the changes, I've now finally bought my new army! I've also got another razorback, devastator squad (long fang), assault squad (sky-claws) and chapter master Gabriel Seth (originally intended to be used as a Ragnar conversion but now I'll probably turn him into a lone wolf) coming in the post. I can't wait to start painting again!

Also, not pictured is my airbrush and compressor, paints, paintbrushes, tools, basing mats etc. I also bought every Space Wolves novel ever written as well =D

Loving the look of the knight, and rules wise don't seem too bad, especially with the 4++.

Dreading the monitary cost though!
