Tabletop Warhammer?

They installed an automated delivery system in their warehouse and its been an absolute failure. Its what was responsible for the Dante leak.
I don’t buy that, as that would imply a stock of finished, boxed, new Dante’s ready to ship sat on a warehouse shelf. That can’t be the case so far ahead of the model even being available.

Its been widely reported that GW have products ready and in storage literally years before they release them.
What's your theory on how a random received Dante before he'd been announced in place of another model that had been ordered?

My take was that it was GWs attempt to play the rumour mill/drum up hype :p

Crazy if it is a mistake. You’d think unreleased stock would be cordoned off in the warehouse and require senior sign off on an individual level….

Took my guard out for a spin tonight. Tabled a friends eldar in turn 3 after doing nothing at all in turn 1 and starting with over half of my army in reserve.
The amount of firepower a single Gatekeeper russ can put out in one turn is staggering, also very tough.

My rogal dorn repeatedly whiffed though.

Was in the local GW store today, thought they still gave out a free model at the start of the month. Seems it's now a build/paint session and get the model. Did end up buying more plastic that I don't need to add to the pile; I feel shame. :D

Starting building a storm speeder. Removed the Aquila hah trying to get my confidence up with the modding side of things.

Don’t mind adding bits but it’s a little bit deferent taking the knife and cutters to expensive bits of plastic.

Might throw together some Poxwalkers alongside to paint something other than space wolves.

I’ve started finally getting into the hobby after years off. I’ve been picking up every kill team box since octarius with the intention of playing skirmish games.

One house move a few months later threw everything in the air. Finally settled enough to cover the garage into my painting / games room.

Had a man come core into the garage wall so I can create an extractor vent for my resin printer and air brush booth. The cabinets turned up on Sunday and I hope to have them built, along with a 6”x4” table this weekend :)

You'll have to come over for a game sometime!

Just finished building the Storm speeder hammerstrike. Pretty neat model to build. Also just cracked open the Death Gaurd combat patrol box open and grabbed the poxwalkers. Will get a few built before I start to airbrush.

Looking forward to start to paint these up. By the looks of it the models will do all the work.

New Battlewagon for the Waaagh

Bigger wheels, tracks shortened and moved to the front, grot gunner from a jet, big fuel tank, noisier exhaust pipe, took the dags off the ram and added armour plates. New grille as well. Had to mess about with the arms for the deffrolla to get it to fit with the new ride height. It all took ages but I'm happy with the look. 100% nicked the wheel and track changes from a picture I found.

Also pretty much finished my Kill Rig, Wurrboy still needs finishing off, then a matte varnish for the whole thing and some pigment for the base. Pretty happy with it, not 100% on the trampler Squig, haven't really painted anything so big before that's organic. Love the model though. Lots going on!

Also kitbashed a Trukk out of a GSC Goliath, came out pretty well. Primed up the looted Battlewagon I made out of a Leman Russ... that one came out pretty awful and hilarious but I kind of like it.

WIP on the printing / games room continues.

I've made the cabinets and the table, and over the weekend did the extraction from the resin half.

Next jobs are to sort out better room lighting, move the old CAT6 terminations to above the cupboard (where the server no lives) and then to actually make the kill teams and the terrain.

I need to get a better electric radiator or wait for warming weather before i jump head first into 3d printing again

It's amazing how much difference it makes on failures etc.

I can just about hit 20's with the small portable heather going and the oil blasting hah.

There's a lot more 3rd party custom parts floating around now for each faction.
