I could never get on with spry cans myself. Got myself an airbrush and never looked back.My not as impressive as above update. I've now assembled all of my plague marines. I tried to vary the loadout as much as possible, however I did decide to get another box anyway so I can play 10.
I mixed and matched a lot of parts from different ones to get the loadout so I wanted, also the guy second from the right has the best drilled bolter I've done and typically he's pointing at the ground.
I just need to bore out the plague belcher and maybe the blight launcher I may just be able to paint that affect because it's already hollowed out a little bit.
I am contemplating getting some backup paint on primer for when I cannot use my sprays.

Death Guard Plague Marines will also be glad to see that they can be taken in squads of seven once more – you no longer have to leave two unfortunates from the seven-man kit on the sidelines!
but how do they pilot if they don’t have controls?Looks great @Bigpig ! A man after my own heart when it comes to painting completely unnecessary details, as I did the same thing
That figure is giving me topgun volleyball vibes.
In a good way...?
I think it looks OK as it is but not great. Will mix the paints and give it a shot. Next will be the axe and that seems tricky.Metallic paints are a pain to highlight with. My suggestion would be to mix a lighter gold (such as Stormhost Silver in to your base gold colour 40:60 and highlight the raised areas (top of the abs, top of thigh, top of knee joint etc) rather than edge highlighting metallics. You can spot highlight with pure stormhost silver for your top highlight/reflection point.

I hope that barrell hole is drilled..
