Tabletop Warhammer?

Dear subscriber,

Thank you for subscribing to Warhammer 40,000: Combat Patrol!

As you might be aware, the response to Warhammer 40,000: Combat Patrol has been immensely positive and as a result there are significantly more subscribers than we initially anticipated.

Due to the response being so high, we have suffered stock shortages for both subscribers and retail customers. Unfortunately, this means some of you will experience a delay in receiving your first delivery.

To rectify the situation, we have ordered more copies to be produced and expect delivery of these from mid-October. We will send these out to you as soon as possible and you will then start to receive your delivery of 4 issues every 4 weeks.

We understand that some of you are frustrated that you are receiving copies later than anticipated, but we are doing everything we can to ensure you get your copies as soon as possible. As a subscriber, you are guaranteed to receive a complete collection, so please rest assured you will receive all your copies.

We are very sorry for the inconvenience caused and would like to say a massive thank you for your patience while we wait for more copies to arrive!

Boooooo :(

Well i've got that email but no actual sub confirmations or response to my email to customer services about why I don't have the confirmation and what is my subscriber number :p I'm not particularly worried about that now though, as i'm happy enough I must definitely be on the sub list to have got this email :D

Maybe you subbed early enough that you won't have to wait and that's why you haven't had this email?

I just asked them on WhatsApp for it, my account shows I have an active sub etc.
Oh now it says next dispatch 27th Sept.

Bear in mind, I registered for this on the 13th of August which I think was the same day.

Honestly I'm so impressed with the evolution 2024. I'm not going to bother with this.
I’ve been holding off. The old ultra is completely fine for doing all the heavy lifting, like priming, varnishing or even base coating.

My infinity is being used for detailed work but is also a bit pita to clean out with the smaller needle/nossle and has a few other quirks.

I was very close on pulling the trigger on the squidmar evolution!!

The Evo comes with a 0.2mm as well but I haven't bothered trying it yet. I've ordered a few more airbrush paints so I'm really looking forward to trying those.
Much prefer it to the cult of paint infinity anyway. Trigger is much nicer, though it is heavier than that one.

So I have ALMOST reached the point where building as I can over the last months, my Space Marine army is ALMOST built, and my nid's are coming along.

To save myself a lot of work as I'm going Deathwing colours for the Space Marines, I was planning to rattlecan prime Colourforge's Hyrax Brown (Rhinox Hide), and then Zenithal spray rattlecan Wight Bone (Wraithbone), as the dark brown feels more shadow compliant from cream than a black would. Intention is then doing a wash of either Seraphim Sepia/Skeleton Horde to basically deal with all of the base armour; this should save me a lot of time over bulk basing colouring the marines, so I can then spend a bit of time doing some details, and boom, battlefield ready, looking half decent and reasonable time per model.

Has anyone else tried this combination before and have any thoughts?

Ohh ohh me too. These air metallics are going to need about a day's worth of shaking.

Valdor gold looks great though almost bronze or brass, always get them mixed up

Amazing painting skills on display, I feel like 2 year old with a crayon for the first time in comparison!

Well worth a visit
