Tabletop Warhammer?

I have fell out of touch with my Warhammer...just can't be arsed to to get anything out to be painted...any tips on how I can do this as I still want them all painted :/

Jaffa, find something that interests you to paint. It can be a slog painting a lot of identical troops so find a special character or elite squad that you can really go to town on.

Totally, painting squad after squad of 20 models each can be rather numbing, best to break it up with 'special' models every now and then.

Got all my Characters done for my Eldar and Empire though...just a grand Dragon from Forge World (£70 or so) which I am not skilled enough to paint yet...

My Eldar need guns and details painted and another highlight (Thanks Simon)...

I have a whole hoard of Kroot under coated and base coated, just need the motivation to finish them up.

Doesn't help that I custom mixed the basecoat colour and I can't remember which paints I used I know it was roughly 50:50 mix of a green and a brown with a little bit of black.

Has anyone got Dreadfleet? You can pick it up new in box for about £35 now and it looks fun. Reviews suggest it is not as tactical as something like WH-fantasy and a bit random,, but fun if you take it for what it is (a big board game) and talk in pirate accents when playing! any thoughts?

Also, I'd like to see some more painted minis posted here- it's great to see other people's stuff. Reading this thread I keep thinking I want to see the stuff people are talking about. I'll post a few of my skaven minis if I can take some ok pictures

all that is kind of true though :p

50 mins until battle, weapons are being consecrated, serfs are applying a final coat of lapping powder to the armour...

(also John has uploaded his army list to the dropbox and I'm quietly wondering how he's got terminators and so many models on the battlefield, dark sorcery indeed)

I bought it when it was released, only because my best mate works for GW and I got some juicy discount...I never said anything about discount...shush :p

I still haven't built it all, only 1 ship and only 1 ship painted, and that's the Kraken in a completley different and original scheme...

I shall snap it and link shortly...

EDIT: I must warn...it is dusty as it was a display model at my local store until my mate left and went back home to manage a store nearer to his parents and the model is now a display piece on my 'display shelf of destiny' in my 'office'.

looks good! the models generally look great... maybe a bit fragile but excellent detail. have you played the game? i read that there are a number of scenarios and wondered if it would work to jusr make up scenarios once youve played through the main ones
