Tabletop Warhammer?

Too much on the rifle for me and don't want to touch the circle on the gun or the antenna or I would have to do them on the other suits and every vehicle. Trying to be consistent with them is a pain.

People at my local club want me to do an armies on parade so keeping the theme will be important I guess.

Its not want you to, we are telling you to, such a difference :p

I think it looks fine the way it is, it's just a spot contrast.

Trying to decide on the next army list to take for a 1500pt battle against LordHughes Tyranids. Tempted to do Ultramarines for fluffy awesomeness but having just done two Space Wolves battles I may need a non SM army.

Maybe orks, lots of cheap units lots of guns to deal with the horde

Nice battle reports Shami they make good reading, when I'm home next week I'll have to get installed and give you a game. Been about 15 years since I played though!

I would like to get into this, I want to try the Tau but I need to read up on the rules for them because I want them to be my next army.

I will try and get on over the weekend or sunday night. I might introduce this to my brother as we have gaming nights on the computer but it would be good to get a few games in without carry our models to eachothers house and finding a space to play in.

Do you guys play with multiple screens to get all the information up. I would love to see a screen shot of your setup to get the best experiance out of this if that is possible?

i have the map on one screen with the box showing all the dice roles in a horizontal bar at the top, then on the second screen I have the rule book and both codexes open for referencing.

I can walk people through the program, it's really quite simple to use after a few turns. I'm away this weekend but I should be back Sunday evening if people want to try something then?

Ah right I might hook up my laptop to a computer screen and extend the desktop, I have the codex on my tablet but if anyone is interested I found an app called 'battlescribe'

You input what you have for your army and it calculates the points, you can also put a point cap on. Once the roster is created you can open it and it will have all the information you need on one screen - Saves you flicking through your codex and I am sure it includes special rules. It is free to download but there is also a paid version but the only difference is you can use the dice on the app.

It also gives you the information on the weapons you have given to your squads.

Fair enough :)

What was this online army thing called again #toolazytosearch

EDIT : I found it :) This would make a great ipad app

I'll have a look for that tonight :) (at the moment I'm just using Excel as an army builder and then the summary page of the Codex for all the weapon info)

I used to have a real blood angel army back when I played properly and I used to always have a Calidus assassin pop up and lolnuke any long range heavy support. They used to hate me for that haha.

Back in the days when I had like a 500+ point honour guard in 1000 point army!

yes my dreadnught did not far well against the long fangs, and once I got mobilized the bloody fleet rule screwed me over. Chaos Dreadnoughts .... never again.
