Forgot about the exhaust on the 420, yeah that was well gone :D

It took me a while to learn that A/C in 100,000 mile old cars that are over 10 years old isn't something to expect working.

And I got rid because I got bored, and wanted something different. Right now I want my Ti back so badly, that was a nice car.
 
It has a certain something about it. A bit like when you pass a derelict house on a country lane with a wall half missing, the roof caved in with exposed rafters and a rusted to death Mk1 Escort next to it that doesn't look like its moved for three decades. All in all that Rover may well be an investment. Its just the kind of thing Damien Hurst or Tracy Emin would snap up for their next exhibit.
 
£250 for that?

So you wanted a cheap car, fair enough, but that's no excuse for paying over the odds for a turd - the worst thing is you actually seem happy with the whole situation!

My free Volvo 850 2.5 was in better condition than that, and it got me to the Alps and back!

Should have looked for something else rather than stuck with the rover blinkers tbh.

OP I think you got stuck on the whole 'need a shed to tide me over thing' that you ended up buying a shed for more than a tidy car would've cost!

Saying that, you didn't spend much on it, so the fail is fairly limited.
 
Christ I sold my old W reg Rover 214 for £250 and that was mint and had a few nice options too. You could have had that for free if I'd known you were this desperate :p.
 
Can the police revoke an MOT or ask for a car to be retested if they pull you over and deem the car to be unroadworthy?

that would still pass an MOT

MOT doesnt cover things like bodywork.

It can be as bent as it wants, as long as it doesnt present a hazard that passers by might hurt themselves on it.

Likewise the leaking roof.

Only thing that might cause a problem is the rust, but its the arches and no doubt its passed with the rust due to its location.
 
Im getting a Free V40 Volvo that can apparently go over speed bumps fast.

OP think on the bright side, the scrap man will give you 30p when you are done with it :D
