Lineage 2 is about 1000 times easier in the latest update. It took me 3 years to get to level 84, i can get to 86 in 2 weeks in the new update lol....

For anyone wanting to participate in the NA beta test this weekend (and alternate weekends from then on) all you have to do to get in is preorder the game from Amazon.com who will send you a code for access. Once you have the code, cancel your pre order and hey presto, beta access for free!

Im waiting to cancel my pre order until closer to release incase it boots me out of beta somehow - they don't take payment until the game releases so you have up until 11th April at the latest to cancel before you have to shell out.

i read that this supports controllers like the xbox controller, can anyone confirm whether you can infact play this game with a xbox pad without being at a severe disadvantage in pvp? ie no mouse turns and pressing backwards will turn your character 360 degrees by giving a proper turning animation so doesnt matter how quickly you can move the mouse behind your character, generally seen in single player rpgs like the witcher 2 and also ffxi and ffxiv use this turning system so can be played with a controller or fully with a keyboard without a disadvantage.

This is a great idea, does it work with UK registered credit cards? Or do you need to spoof a US payment?

US Card...

lots of websites out there to get American card, works like paypal. you will also get a American address.

You don't need a US card or account, just go to the Amazon.com site and put the game in the basket then login with your normal Amazon.co.uk account sign in and it works.

This. Worked fine for me using my uk credit card and address. It does require downloading the US client and patch however, I left mine on overnight and it was done.

Really looking forward to TERA. For those of you who have played beta, is the control system really as good as it looks? I'm curious as to how you change between skills whilst your left hand is on WASD and your right hand is controlling the mouse?

The numbers mate, you activate them then click, some you paint the target and press space to activate. If that makes sense.

Yeah it's really simple. You use 1-9 on your keyboard or you can rebind them to keys around WASD like i did. If you look in the skills menu there is also a Skill Chain system that allows you to cast the skills set in the chain after the initial skill is used by pressing/holding down space bar.

must be something new then? always used to redirect you when you wanted to pay!

It might be US Itunes that does that :confused:

86 in 2 weeks is that solo grinding , or full group with uber buffs . :eek:

Another question, how grindy is this game? I've heard that it's not a typical korean grindfest rather levelling is pretty fast.

In the Beta, I went from level 1 to 10 within a few hours and that was whilst learning the game mechanics and taking in the sights. I heard that the xp rates were slightly increased in the CB due to the time restrictions so we can only hope it takes a lot longer on release.

Personally I hope there is an element of grind, levelling in current MMO's is far too fast and easy. I'd be happy to take a good few months of questing and PvP on my way to the cap, something like LoTRO on release would be perfect.
