TERA release date announced.

You can play now by downloading the trial version and getting to level 28. Or you can buy the box game for around $20 and use the 30 day free gametime with it to play until f2p is live :P.
 
Loving this again, resubbed to try it out again and they seem to have fixed a lot of the issues from launch. FTP should bring some fresh blood back on the 5th too (officially announced today for 5th Feb)

eDIT: Managed to get access again to both my EU and NA accounts.
Are they both going F2P?
I only went retail with my EU account are there advantages to pickign up a cheap NA serial key now before it goes f2p?

Yup both going F2P. You'll get veteran status or whatever the yanks are calling it if you buy.
 
Will be playing this again aswell, really loved the combat on my slayer.
Anyone upgraded to collectors edition for 10 euros? worth it? Cant remember if i had a mount before i stopped playing.
 
Just to warn people, got a 30 min queue on Killian (on a weekday) and it's not even fully free to play yet. May start on a different server.
 
Yeah i'm gonna give this a blast again, i actually really enjoyed it first time round. It's a pretty good MMO it was just lacking a few features upon release to keep me subbed.
 
Queues ongoing for all servers currently, and paying customers go infront of the free players so queues can actually get larger for those people while they wait. Hopefully the new servers tomorrow will smooth things out.
 
I started playing this about 2 weeks ago after someone on The weekend confirmed kept on about it, quite enjoyed it and it looks great. Having never really played an MMO how long before I start to do more interesting things? I am about level 10 I think and get a little bored of the kind of tedious quests in it.
 
Just started playing this game and I think its great. Familiar wow like style with pretty awesome graphics.

I see some low level (4-6) on a mount. How can I get one of those?

Founders get one at start, you can get one from subscribing, or I think you get one from buying a retail copy of the game. Maybe buy one from auction house too, but you get first mount for
free at level 11 when you go to Velika.

It gets a bit more fast paced at level 11 when you get your mount at Velika, but the quests are always a bit dull. Areas do get a lot more fun though, and the BAMS are amazing.
