Well that's because you're just cool.

Must be the head of Jaguar brand also in charge of Lexus LC line-up with those metricsThat's why you buy a 2-3 year old one for half the price!
Just call him woke and ignore the history till this pointMy team leader at work is a Jag man. He's had quite a few in the 20 or so years I've known him.
Currently got a 60s MK2 and an X351.
Although that is a dirty diesel.
I'm sure he'll have plenty of swear words to say.
They won't break down though and they'll be comfortable, well built and nice places to be. Not saying German equivalents won't be as good though, TBF.Their model range is mainly a load of SUV's that are worse than the German equivalents.
The LC500 is great but the sales figures are so small it may as well not exist. Same goes for the LS, I actually wanted to try one but they are so rare.
He's 60, he'll just call everyone girls or cants.Just call him woke and ignore the history till this point
The government(tax-payer) is keeping tata/jaguar sweet .. maybe Starmer will ask for a review.
lol what? Lexus place in the market isn't a secret, it is something they specifically aim for. It is why they invented the Scion brand for youfff'. Like I said, I'd love a Lexus, but I won't go near one because the CVT box is gash. It is designed for old biddies to pootle along/people uninterested in driving as an experience.
OK fair but who are they appealing to? That can also afford an average £100k for an EV?This reminds me of the Apple turnaround from 1997.
Many of the older established ‘experts’ were saying Steve Jobs was a failure and driving the company into ground. During his presentation to the Apple employees many can be heard shouting out ‘what the hell are you doing’….
2007 the iPhone launched and many in the sector, including the Microsoft CEO, were on video interviewed laughing and mocking it.
The rest is history.
Jaguar clearly wants to appeal to a new generation - Continuing to appeal to the pervy old bloke market didn't work. Many of the people commenting about this re-brand; Harry M, Chris Harris & friends are exactly the people new Jag appears to want to distance themselves from.
Good luck to them !

Shock. His pockets are lined so thick by JLR it is unreal.Harry M has been the most positive spin from what I’ve seen so far. New picture tonight anyway- I’m fascinated to see how it all lands.
That’s exactly what the MS CEO, Steve Ballmer said about the iPhone - “Who can afford a £400 phone, plus contract costs, it will fail” (2007)OK fair but who are they appealing to? That can also afford an average £100k for an EV?
Also, £100k is not a crazy price for a car these days.
Harry Metcalfe the dinosaur being called “British media” is somewhat of a stretch!Shock as British media are positive about a British brand (despite the owners).
