I wish my gym had TRX stuff :(

Out of interest, is there anything stopping me getting a basic set of dipping rings and doing similar exercises with them?

I have no idea what the gf does at the gym ow a days, I taught her how to squat but she mostly does cardio + some machine circuit + 'body combat' and 'body pump'

Really CBA to get up today. Long day at uni and then I'm supposed to go to the gym... we'll see.
 
I need links!! Good links for the bitch to read and be educated. I'm not knowledgeable enough to explain to her why Diet+Cardio+Resistance is better than JUST diet (and won't make her a muscly man in the process). When she asks why so my response is "because I say it is" :(
 
Unless I become a billionaire, living in London and having enough space to have my own gym stuff is going to be a hard push.

Being able to get a setup like Morba has, going to an old hangar type of place with lots of equipment does appeal though.

It's the same reason it's good for men.

Say about how it's muscle that gives women their womanly shape, and that by simply dieting and burning calories through cardio she will lose this faster than you blow your beans at 3am on Saturday morning. Although sure, she will lose fat, her overall body composition will likely deteriorate which will make it all the more easy to pile on 20KG by even looking at a Domino's menu. By lifting weights she will at least maintain, if not increase her muscle mass while dropping fat which will improve body composition which will in turn make her (keep her ;)) womanly and hnnnng. Be careful to stress that because she does not have balls she has next to no testosterone, and therefore becoming "bulky" is just never going to happen - science.

Say that flexibility and things like yoga team up really well with resistance training, add in some buzzwords like metabolism and tell her how she'll be burning off more calories just sitting around watching TV in the evening and you're golden.

Ding ding ding! We have a winrar! We are the same species after all and posses mostly the same physiology, does it not stand to reason that training efficiency is cross-gender? Unfortunately this is perfectly logical, which women have no concept of :(.

It's a bloody god send. We have all said that should we win silly millions on the lottery we will make the ultimate strongman / strength training facility and basically live the life with nutritionists and specialised coaches lol.
