surely you would add in some type of BP also, before dips. Well..i would anyway:)

no actually..would do sqts, chins, bench...then deads, dips, OHP

Nope, would leave bench if was time restricted. dips would give so much more.
I don't think anyone needs to bench, for a lot it is more pain than pleasure :)
 
I'd agree with BB bench as that can cause people issues. But DB bench? Why would you not do it?

Granted doing what you do (strongman type stuff) I'm guessing flat bench work rarely comes in to play?

Dips > db bench too tbh.
 
DL 120 x 3 tonight, never done that before!

After all over body paining from 80 minutes at loose head on Saturday, I'm impressed with myself and what I managed. Working through the DOMS really works!

Do you play prop often? Would have thought most props would be able to do a bit more than 120kg for reps :p
 
20 rep squats are great, now and then!
You have a weight restriction, at least that that be your top sets :p
 
Has anyone tried Smolov jr for bench?

Know a few how have run a single cycle of it, worked well. Not heard of people chaining it and doing a few runs in a short time, don't think it would work so well.

Just saw your experience, i'd leave this well alone tbh.

You aren't stressing your body anywhere near enough to need any form of belt right now.

Stop thinking about the routines, the equipment, the accessories.
Lift, eat, sleep. Or if you are lucky enough: sex, weights and protein shakes.
 
I've found it varies batch to batch. I got one a few years ago and it was lovely, got one late year and it tasted like feet in comparison.

Yeah I agree, sometimes its easy to get down others it tastes horrific.
Shows how different each batch can be!
 
Yeah i've watched most of his stuff. Tried klokov presses once, takes the **** how strong he is!
 
Omg my body feels beaten up from benching yesterday! Never felt like this before after bench, must be doing something right!
