*** The 2013 Gym Rats Thread ***

Did you actually do any kind of rehab work in your time off the gym to help fix what issues you may have?

Yes,

I avoided all exercise and ate lots of cakes :D
In all seriousness I did not do much, I tried a bit of core work, my physio reccomended that I try and sit up straighter at my desk (virtually iompossible to maintain though as soon as I start concentrating on something my form falls back to normal)

All the physio reccomended was some core work, he did show me some alternate exercises to what I am doing but I cannot honestly remember what they were :(

Dude - if you can't remember what they were, I suspect other people on here may be inclined to believe you weren't doing them. ;)

Also, fixing my posture was one of the best things I ever did (sitting at desk, walking around, etc.) and gave me a much better awareness of where everything was/is during a lift.

You want to fix this, right? ;) :D

Nah that's a fine post but I'm not actually happy with what I'm eating anyway. I read a supposed diet thatthe rock was oin for that pain and gain. It looks pretty straightforward but I ain't too keen on cod which he seemed to have eaten a lot of.

I'll just do some googling myself I just thought some of the big guys on here might follow something.

This might sound like a douchebag post, but...

Why not take what you're eating and add more?

To be fair, MoNkeE's suggestion does sound epic for dreamer bulking.

I suspect it's just as much to do with their training and time in the gym, ;)

A diet wasn't all he was on.

Oh make no mistake I wasn't, I did tell him what I was doing and he said they were ok and offered me some alternative ones, I was in pain for a few days afterwards so did nothing, then just continued doing what I was doing.

I'll be perfectly honest though I haven;t done huge amounts of rehab as it all leads to more pain, I have just avoided doing pretty much anything most of the time and my back does seem to be improving a little, then earlier I carried 2 boxes of printer paper up the stairs and it has started to ache a little again so guess it's still pretty far from ok :(

I'm a big believer in just getting the food in, especially when I'm trying to furiously add mass. It's pretty simple given the parameters of CBL, but the same meals and snacks could be added to any diet.

Just eat brah, it doesn't need to be complicated :) Unless you like structure and strict macro counting, in which case there are a few guys on here that follow a similar approach.

Breakfast:
McDonalds Double Sausage and Egg McMuffin, Bacon and Egg Bagel, 5x Hash Browns

Lunch:
KFC Super mega delux bargain bucket, 24pcs

Dinner:
Pizza shop parmo on top of donner meat pizza, washed down with meaty gravy

Pre-bed:
Slim fast shake

There is a sheer lack of donuts, cakes and muffins. Also no ice cream!!

Fail.

O lawd. I missed this brilliance.

What exactly do you mean by fully natural? Are you on protein shakes?

I mean not on roids and no.

I didn't see it. And - to be blunt - I can't believe what has been written,

Nate: Do you want to understand precisely what is happening to you? Or do you want to keep posting a dizzying array of stuff that doesn't really make any sense at all?

I know how it works, it's the only supplement worth taking.

Leave him alone, he can see things clearer now, he can work problems out quicker. It's like he is on a higher plane than you, another level. You're not on creatine, you wouldn't understand.

It's true http://www.predatornutrition.com/en/content/can-creatine-make-you-smarter/.

Oh god its another vegan.

Vegans cant gain, period. Gains come from things that bleed and scream and suffer.

No gains ever came from a plant, fact.

Are you serious?...

Has to be a troll. No one can be that stupid by accident.

Mhm.
