Say you'll be happy to do some proper planks instead. If they say that you won't be training your posterior core, punch they. It will probably be fine.
 
Yeah but at least Zefan knows that for benching a stable base is crucial, and what better stable base then a strong back.

Rows are awesome here, db rows, bent over rows, pull ups are all great.
Don't neglect your triceps either, CGBP is a really good exercise.

Chest gains are the hardest to have and you just need to be hitting it with crazy volume if you want to add mass.

Planks were in there, COME ON YOU CAN HOLD IT FOR A MINUTE!! Along with crunches.

S'ok though cause we had medicine ball squats. Next week will be ABS BLAST no doubt.

Good thing I'm off abroad again for 4 months! Oh wait the gym is even worse there. I will be restarting my log with details and pictures of the shameful gym equipment at my disposal by the way, in case anyone fancies a challenge to create some kind of workable routine from the junk.

My mates out in a FOB at the moment and seems to be making more progress there than he did on base, I asked him how everything was going the other day and the only response I got was "I just benched 100kg!"
 
I made more gains there than I have anywhere else, however extremely unsafely and with massively limiting equipment. I put it down to eating **** loads, sleeping **** loads, and consistency in the gym. Funny eh?! Just wait til you see the equipment, it was beyond lol now I think back to it.
 
The armed forces are a complete and utter cluster ****. Blind leading the blind. I would love to just tell the person running the circuit to shove it but unfortunately I would get told to wind my neck in and be seen as trying to swerve phys. Oh well. RIP shoulders. Good night sweet spine health.

You need to stop being a little bitch. Do the PTI/PTL course and conduct the circuits yourself.

I have tried many times to get on the PTL course, it was a no go every time due to rank. You don't know how our place works, so don't pretend you do.

I'm talking about a remote site down south.

By the way, I know lots of scrotes to have done the PTL/PTI course, so if your unit is preventing you doing that then they are simply DOING IT WRONG.

I know they're doing it wrong. I've told them they're doing it wrong. Doesn't stop them doing it wrong though. Excuse my assumption that you were still in the RAF, let's just say your tone is both annoying and familiar :p
 
Our circuits are the same, as are most of the guys who do coaching. I have seen one PTI with good form in there (and who hasn't jumped the crossfit bandwagon). My mate thinks I'm unfit because I refuse to do circuits with him, stuff that waste of time and effort. Very little fit people in the military, or very little people that know what their doing.

Such a shame when we have so many resources to pull from.
