*** The 2013 Gym Rats Thread ***

Upped my dumbbell bench press by 6kg in each arm over the last 2 weeks, now at 18kg and going to go for 20kg start of next week. Pretty happy about that!

Keep it up you'll be on the 30s before you know it :)

I've always found chest work incredibly easy to make progress with.

Everyone is different though.
When I first started training (after the initial beginners boost) I found my legs increased in weight rapidly and my chest platue'ed for AGES.
Now it seems the other way around.

On a side note, still suffering with my back and physio is talking now of sending me to a specialist as he has no idea what is wrong with me.

My main problem is I work a desk job and I spend most of my working day sat down. The pain I experience is mostly when I am sat down.
Moving around it hurts far less.

my gym are doing the same. posters up everywhere - 'clinically proven to get you fit in 4 minutes' - sounds legit.

I hope to god it's not a treadmill as that really won't be proper Tabata. Treadmills are far too slow, a Concept 2 or running outside are the only ways!!! :D

Tabata ruins me also and it's funny collapsing off the ergo with others looking on with a 'WTF' face!

Let me know how it goes :p

I normally get stares as I work my way across the gym as the rower moves :D

Ahh yes, the rare to see 'Ergo Moonwalk' :D:D

Just come off a rig up North past Shetland which had a lovely new gym. Was partaking in a cheeky Tabata session before lunch and managed to bounce the Ergo back soo close to the wall that the last 10 secs of my final set involved leaning forwards as I was banging up against the mirror!

Need to move it up a level and punch through the wall into a Milf infested Pilates/Yoga class ;)

Now, what shall I eat tonight?

Chicken breast in a Sirloin Steak sandwich seems to be on the cards!

IN. Tabata in to downward dog.

Hahaha that cat picture cracked me up! Bought the £75 deal from MuscleFood last night, should be here Friday... I don't know where I'm gonna store it all!

Splitting 20kg of chicken breast that is just above freezing into 2 breast portions is not a fun job as I discovered the first time I ordered a load! Frozen hands and chicken goo everywhere!

^ lolz

Rookie error not seperating portions before freezing. Have fun with that :p

Not my fault :(

Ordered the food whilst on one rig with no plans to go away again. Came back onshore and work sent me away again the day before the delivery and boss just bunged it straight in the freezer at work...... The whole 5Kg tub of chicken

Everything else is separate though!
