*** The 2013 Gym Rats Thread ***

I had it before with the options chocolate but wasn't to keen on the flavour I had last time, can't remember what it was. The choc whey I have from MP went so well with it last night though. I think it was the first time I had Sainsburys Quark as well, it seems to be a bit easier to mix than the Asda one, the Asda one is a little thicker I find. Might be why it tasted nicer than I remember.

Need to try this Qaurk!

Had a deload week last week and totally struggling this week! Bench worked out the same weight as last cycle on week one and I'm a rep lower. Squats were shocking yesterday had no strength come last set and depth was just not good enough. What the.........

Though i have upped my cardio a little. May just need time to adjust to the extra sprints/cycling.

Hopefully be back to normal come next week.

Did something today I've dubbed the 'Disposable Heroes' cycling workout... aptly along to the song Disposable Heroes by Metallica :p

The aim - to keep a high pace then full-on sprint whenever it goes 'turbo fast'... if you are going for it you will be feeling like youre about to puke your guts out at the end... :D

Music taste - strong
Activity taste - phaggoty

You will do, what I say, when I say, BACK TO THE FRONT!

I insisted on some metal in the gym during our last session, Disturbed to be exact. It received some odd looks but I get bored of all the pants trance. Aggressive music = mean sex face when lifting.

i am not a fan of metal music at all, but i must agree that it does make a difference in getting psyched up for a lift, i noticed this in Oxford :)

Judas Priest = epic.

Although I've had to stick with Muse/Van Halen recently due to a mix of people in the gym (and the gym being in the middle of an office)...

Would love to stick Metallica's Master of Puppets album on loud for clean work, but that's just not going to happen. :(

Nothing like "Jump" blaring out during a work-out. :p
