I remember a review of the Airstar in one of the magazines.
I think they are rare because they flopped! Still a nice piece of engineering but I think it was solving a problem that didn't really exist.

As to Scopes. A bog standard Hawke sport HD 3-9x40 is a good starter. You would have to change the parallax on it to a more suitable range, but that's just unscrewing 2 things.
For a little more you can get a AO version if you want.
Any idea what it is first, any markings or numbers near the trigger? Break barrel or underlever? Dont really want to tell you to attack it if its something valuable that deserves nice restoration
Guys, quick noob question - ive found an old air rifle in a garage, the barrel is rusted and there are rust spots all over but it seems to **** fine - best way to clean it up?
Anyone here selling a decent, mid range, break barrel any time soon?
Any idea what your budget is?
I'm looking at a Stoeger X20 at the moment, comes with scope, bag etc for £150.
Private seller on a site, would rather furnish an OcUK'er with the cost though if there are any decent break barrels about![]()
A chap at my range is selling a single shot Airarms s200 for 200 i think, its a pcp so add a stirrup pump and you have something you wont need to **** and only refill every 70 or so shots. Pull the bolt back, slude a pellet in and push the bolt back and away you go

Shot count is only about 45-50 in .177 on the S200 unless it's been fitted with a regulator.
Sounds expensive for a Stoeger, they start around £90 brand new.
