*** The all new iPhone 4 thread - Keep all iPhone 4 stuff in here ***

EDIT: I AM AN IDIOT!!! I think I have just worked it out. I think it's carried the usage stats across from my 3GS which I backed up and then did a restore to the iPhone 4. Does that make sense?

Yep, that's what happens when you setup your new iPhone as a restore of the old one.

I've done that when I changed the 3G to a 3GS (and then to my other 3GS) and again to my iPhone 4 - so it's got the usage statistics from July 11 2008.

On a separate note; 3 > O2 at the moment. Very happy.

Better signal at my house (out in the sticks, O2 was average, 3 I can get 3G :)), cheaper handset, cheaper monthly, more minutes, more texts, more internet, better website to manage my account. Only downside is the Indian call centres.

Could someone tell me if the 'Cellular Network Data' section under Settings > Usage includes data over Wi-Fi?

I've used my iPhone 4 for 2 days and apparently have transmitted/received around 2gb!!! I only have a 1Gb plan so I am ****ed if this doesn't include Wi-Fi

I thought this had a fair usage policy of 500Mb a month though?

I believe you have to use a lot of data on a consistent basis to warrant being contacted about it.

I have used over 500mb a month on several occasions without issue.

That makes as much sense as a hush-hush internal redesign - hell with the normal Apple spin it probably turn out to be a good day for them. I can see a fix to the antenna not being a lot cheaper in the long term than them doing a whole redesign - just means they launch the yearly iteration earlier...

Wonder how much my iP4 is worth :p. Please make a 64Gb version though...

ps3ud0

With this in mind, I am definitely going down the sim-only route until new design. Two tariffs I am considering are Vodafone and Orange, only difference being Vodafone providing more data per month but which is best for 3G?

I still can't decide what to do... I've been able to upgrade my handest for ages now. :(

The new iPhone people are talking about is the CDMA variant for Verizon, it may have an antenna fix, it may not.

Either way its not the iPhone 5 and it wont work over here, so forget it.

Just found a hairline scratch and all around the sides/antenna it has scuffs thanks the the bumper/possible bits inside.

Do i have any chance of getting it replaced?

Went to the Genius bar on saturday in Covent garden to replace my Iphone after it decided to self shut down :(

Wasnt too happy when my new Iphone came with 4.1 software meaning i couldnt jailbreak but luckily for me Limerain was released on the same day wooohooo :D
